Ramada by Wyndham Milwaukee

The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel is average but the neighborhood is really run down. We had a homeless man passed out on the steps of the hotel.

The room was clean and quiet. Great breakfast as well

Nice room, good size. In room fridge, safe, hair dryer, alarm/device charger, large TV, Keurig coffee machine. There is an elevator for the 3-story building. There is a beautiful art deco hotel across the street (same management group) with dining options.

It’s in a fringe neighborhood which was scary at times

We went across the street to their sister property and had the best appetizers and drinks! The staff over there was equally as fun and engaging and I would highly recommend visiting. The price of this hotel was very inexpensive compared to what I felt it was worth. I’ll admit, I was a little concerned about the area, but the hotel was a 10 out of 10. We used the shuttle service and the driver was wonderful.

I didn't like that the room was advertised as free parking but was actually $20/nt. Guests should just be given a parking pass and not be charged. This was a money grab and not necessary.

Building is old but seemed fairly clean. Red and black decor is dated. Not enough seating in the lobby. Our bathroom had a large hole in the wall near the floor for critters to get in and out. The toilet seat was broken and would shift every time you sat on it. Breakfast was your average hotel experience and variety. Staff was very friendly. Parking lot across the street for $10 was convenient. We don't plan on staying again though.

Being able to use the shuttle to downtown for dinner was great! I would stay again.

Floors were dirty but I cleaned them myself. Not the best neighborhood but it was ok. Next time I will pay the extra money and stay in the downtown city center area.

Room was nice but lobby could use an upgrade

It was totally worth it and would gladly stay there again when I come to Milwaukee. Sure, its a jaunt to the beach, but bus 30 right outside will take you to the Bradford beach or near it. You can also walk it.

This one is great value. Clean quiet room, a bathroom fan that didn’t sound like a diesel, everything worked. Just what you want in a budget accommodation.

Got stuck overnight after a flight cancelation. The staff were accommodating about holding my luggage until check-in time, and the next day after check out before my flight. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I was able to stream my Netflix. The hotel is on the outskirts of town outside of the Marquette campus, so without a plan I walked downtown to kill time before check in and see some of the city. Therefore, I was a bit surprised hearing the concierge explain to a guest checking in all the benefits including a shuttle service they share with the hotel across the street that takes you downtown, the hot and cold breakfast offered, and the filtered water in the gym as I was checking out. I hot none of that info when I checked in. That was weird.

The curtains wouldn't close, allowing sunlight to come in, which also hindered our sleep. Our room was located right next to the housekeeping closet, and with workers constantly slamming the door while going in and out of that room, sleep was impossible. This hotel is also located in a sketchy part of town, which was unknown to us as we're not from the area. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

It was located in an unsafe part of town. Cable had to be repaired. No soap or body wash in the bottles in shower. We had to pay to park because it was not safe.
