Kimpton Journeyman Hotel by IHG

Was okay, nothing special. Since I’m not 21 I called to make sure I could check in, was told it would be no problem. When we got there I was asked if anyone that was 21 would be checking in, I told her no and that I had called before hand and was told it would be no problem. She had to go talk to her manager, we were able to stay but I felt communication between staff may not be very good. Just glad we didn’t have to find a different hotel during summer fest.

Beautiful Hotel on the good side of Milwaukee

Location was top notch! The staff from the moment we arrived were amazing. The valet employee's keep things moving. Beautiful property, would definitely stay again on our next trip to Milwaukee.

Very helpful and friendly staff, the room was great, with a great view and even the bath robes were an awesome touch!

The location is fantastic! Overall, it is a nice hotel. A super unique feature is the large number of bicycles available for guests to use, which is fantastic since you are so close to the lakefront and the river. The value of the room is definitely the location. Unfortunately, if you are allergic to animals, this is not the hotel to stay in. We had to cut our anniversary weekend short due to an allergy and asthma flareup. We asked if we could be moved to a floor that had never had animals on it; however, the front desk staff said they could not guarantee that, so our only option was to check out early. In trying to expedite our check out, my husband left a very nice pair of dress slacks in the closet. We called and were told to fill out a form for housekeeping to check for the pants. Apparently, no one found them, so he is down a pair of very nice pants. We had a great start, but a frustrating and disappointing ending.

Have been staying here for the past 5 years. The staff are always friendly ad helpful. The food at Tre Rivali is very good! The rooftop bar is great anytime of year!

We really liked the brunch in the morning. No need to stress at the breakfast table. We also liked the wine reception in the late afternoon. The location is excellent, right in the Third Ward. Lots to do and great shopping, theater, music festivals, and food places around. We parked around the corner in the parking place, easy and in walking distance to the hotel. Nothing!

Loved the hotel. Very stylish and convenient location. Having a decent restaurant in the hotel is a great benefit. Parking is available in the lot next door.

Roof top bar was wonderful and the bar tenders in the main restaurant were awesome,

Internet in TV not working properly. Had assistance. Explained to unplug and plug cable back and forth.

Rest of experience was great! Super friendly staff in Hotel.

Room was ok. Had wifi issues when we got to the room. The TV went off-line multiple times. The rooftop bar is very cool.

I asked for management to contact me. I was advised Amber would and that hasn’t happened. I’m disappointed in the lack of follow up from management. I will return, I hope these issues are fixed with the communication and tvs.

Clean room, amazing staff (asked & they brought up tea service at night for turn down) , great location, very walkable. I stay here every time I come to Milwaukee. Roof top bar is great too!
