Favorite hotel in Milwaukee. Cool and always pleasant.

Iron Horse is an excellent property! The lobby and lounging areas are so well decorated and inviting, you want to spend as much time there as your room. But the rooms are huge with fabulous decor and amenities so you might not want to leave. We also had dinner at their restaurant - The Yards. We sat in the outdoor area which was spacious with an outdoor bar and various levels and areas to dine. The food was excellent. We only stayed for one night as we were passing through but we hope to get back to Milwaukee some time so we can enjoy a longer stay.

Very clean and quiet rooms
-
It’s just a great place that gets you away from the “store” brands. I highly recommend

Room size was as described. But AC did not go down below 75 which made it tough to stay in hot days and night. Have to get extra fan on table while waiting for maintenance person for hours. Fan was loud so tough to sleep in night. Light in shower was not working. Light in general was very less. Dimmer was not working correctly.

Beautiful property! I like the outdoor bar and restaurant on site. Rooms are very nice and very clean!. Comfortable beds.
-
Very clean room. Nice vibe. Would stay again!
-
Other than restaurant staff I didn't see hotel staff smile. While a minor thing it's telling since Ironhorse used to give off a fun vibe.
-
Amazing from the moment we walked in the staff was great I will pick this hotel over and over
-
Great location and in close proximity to all of our activities. Loved the hotel esthetic- our room was one of the "best we have stayed in"...husband words!
-
Rooms are good. Lobby is hot and humid. Room AC did not cool to what it was set to, but it wasn’t hot. Would stay again.
-
The lobby had a fabulous smell that I would like to bottle. A nice gift shop that was open all the time. The restaurant staff was very friendly. I loved staying here. Parking was expensive but handy.
-
Front desk was so sweet! Room was clean and felt cozy!
-
I had a corner room on the second floor off the train tracks and it was really quiet. The bed was comfortable and the shower was warm. The staff was fantastic and gave great recommendations for local fare. The hotel reataurant was so so. Great drinks but it took 30 minutes to get my food and it one dish was inedible. Overall though I would stay there again.
-
Nice hotel, with a cool vibe! The only downside is the extremely high price for valet parking = $44/night! It's also hit and miss with the desk staff. Sometimes they are very friendly, and helpful, but other times, they make you feel like you're kind of bothering them. Either way, it's still a great hotel, and I will most likely stay here again.

Carpet was all buckled, blow dry start smoking
-
Location Staff were not friendly, horrible service for food no food options because we were told if we sit inside we won’t be served forcing us to sit outside and a limited menu because they are short staffed, no where go sit outside so couldn’t eat at restaurant no options for bottled water or to buy a drink or water . Used to be a great place to stay. Jacked up the prices with no amenities is crazy not even able to get food from them is crazy
-
very comfy bed, easy check in and out process, valet available
-
Great staff, clean rooms, great location.
