Great place & location! I know valet is 3rd party but they provided excellent service. Hotel is located in a walkable area.

Great location. Industrial type rooms that are very comfortable. Parking next door is about half the price of the valet parking. A variety of interesting restaurants in the area.

1. We couldn’t get the a/c cooler than 70 in the room regardless of what you set the temp to 2. We were given a room on the 2nd floor which is open to the lobby below. They play fairly loud music in the lobby which was audible in our room. This seems to only be a factor if you are on the 2nd floor though as all other floors are closed off 3. Although admittedly we did not have a do not disturb sign up, housekeeping was knocking on our door at 8:40am. Pretty surprised they start that early and if you are a later sleeper, definitely put up the tag

Some maintenance stuff was needed. Hotel was clean and quite nicely decorated. Staff was helpful. Location great for walking to third ward restaurants. Cought a local bars party bus to and from summer fest grounds. Parking next door was on spot hero. Good base for exploring.

We’ve stayed here before but this time it was different. The room was real run down- carpet was balled up like it had gotten wet or something. Smelled musty and the AC didn’t work well at all. Breakfast was weird. Half the menu wasn’t accurate. Couldn’t even get OJ. The menu items weren’t available. Seems like it’s being run by newsagent that doesn’t care to keep it the legend it once was. Hope that changes soon

Clean , spacious room. Fun lobby with cool original rock & roll art. (With an artist creating new art in the lobby.) great outdoor patio, The Yard, to enjoy Wisconsin’’a finest cheese curds and a Spotted Cow on tap.
