Motel 6 Monroe, LA

The room was dirty! There was a pearl earring and a cigarette on the floor when I arrived. The bathtub had hair in it. I honestly didn't expect much for price and I got exactly what I paid for. Some of the staff were very nice though.

There are no amenities, pool not open, glass pipes dropped on ground in front of door. Glass shards in the parking lot and in breezeways, no towels, not good lighting, not a safe place. Staff was horrible and should not be dealing with the public.

The room was the worst I have ever seen in my travels. There was mold everywhere. I was afraid to even turn on the ac because it was thick with mold. There were roaches everywhere. I wish I could attach pictures with this review so you could see exactly how bad this place is. Obviously Louisiana does not do any inspections of this place. Management did not seem concerned at all about the shape the room was in. I have seen some not so desirable rooms before but this one by far the worst that I have ever seen. They should not be charging for this place at all. They should not even let anyone stay in dump for free. Motel 6 needs to tear this location down. And don’t be fooled by the pictures they show, the room was nothing like the pictures. Expedia should remove this location from their website.

Do not book a stay bathroom and bed horrible

Nothing The bed had blood stains. The walls were yellow, and the ceiling was falling down. The throw-up was in the sink, with flies everywhere. The shower was disgusting, no cleaning at all, terrible experience. I refunded immediately after arriving, never again.

Rundown motel, needs serious modernization.

The only good thing about this hotel was the cold a/c. I have never seen a room so dirty.

I booked two rooms and called a head of time to check in so I could have my rooms. I arrive at the hotel and they only had me checked in for one of my rooms even though I mentioned both. Cool beans I’ll take the one room. We enter the room and it is filthy. Folded back the covers to check and there was toenails, pubic hairs, dead bugs, bed bugs, blood stains and clots left in the bed after it had been “cleaned”. Absolutely disgusting do not recommend staying here.

It was a roach motel. They had mold everywhere and the room flooded 2nd day there and front desk lady was hateful about and said she wasn't dealing with it. We did get moved to another room finally. There were roaches EVERYWHERE

From the moment I got there, it was a complete nightmare. the best thing about this place was the parking lot and that’s not saying much. Man at the front desk was rude from the get go. The room smelled and was disgusting. Dead bugs, not swept, everything was sticky, cobwebs everywhere, half assed broken window with tiny curtain barely able to cover the whole thing, graffiti outside AND inside the room. I slept in my regular street clothes on top of the sheets because it was so gross everywhere else. I was genuinely scared to sleep in there and debating just sleeping in my car. No towels, one used toilet paper roll, no soap, and trash was still full. I only stayed because I had already paid and I got there at 1am. Do everyone a favor and burn. the damn place down.

This place has never met a duster or broom in its life 😵‍💫 and the shower curtain had mold, the cold water didn’t work in the shower so I was stuck with REALLY hot water, and the one towel I was provided was literally Dirty! Had black stains like if someone found it on the ground and just folded it for the room.

House keeping went in the room 3 days and do nothing. I dont know what they was looking for.
