Motel 6 Monroe, LA

The room was filthy, one of my nightstands were broken, there were cigarette butts in the room. The chair was broken and there were spider webs everywhere. Not to mention the pool is out of order. I would not recommend staying here.

The room was filthy. The beds were stained brown from age and wear, looking like they hadn't been replaced in decades. The sheets had cigarette burns in them, and even the comforter was covered in burns and damage. Everything smelled awful, a combination of mildew, smoke, and neglect. Mold was visible throughout the room, and the bathroom was especially appalling. It didn't feel clean, safe, or sanitary in any way. What should have been a simple overnight stop became a stressful and uncomfortable experience for my entire family. I've stayed in budget motels before and understand they're not luxury accommodations, but basic cleanliness and maintenance should not be too much to ask. The strangest part of the night was a screaming frog outside our room that croaked nonstop. At one point, it honestly felt like the poor thing was trying to warn us to get out while we still could. This stay left such a bad impression that I never want to stop in Monroe, Louisiana again. I can't stop thinking about how awful this place was. If you're traveling with family, keep driving and find literally anywhere else. This motel should be embarrassed to rent rooms in this condition.

Bathroom was dirty the floors were dirty the ceiling looked like it was ready to cave in the room also smelled like mildew.

The room was so NASTY and they never cleaned the room!! They never gave us fresh towels or cleaned the room!! Everyday we come in the room it smelled like weed!! There were stains all over the place!! Stay away it is so NASTY!!

Inseguro: gente bebiendo y fumando a todas las horas en los pasillos y escuchando música . camas llenas de hongos color oscuro . El piso de duela caóticamente asqueroso de la tierra pegada . Olor del aire acondicionado absolutamente detestable . Es mejor pagar un poco más y dormir a gusto y tranquilo .

The bathrooms could b cleaned better. The floors are nasty didnt looked mopped. Not alot of lightning in rooms. Not to sure if the bedding was changed or changed regularly. The staff at front desk is rude. They will not give but one towel one rag when u have 2 ppl staying. THE CLEANING AND STAFF NEEDS TO BE BETTER AT THERE JOB. IM A CLEANER MYSELF FOR A COMMERCIAL CLEANING COMPANY AND I CAN DO BETTER THEN THAT!!! THEY ARE RUSHING THREW IT.

It’s okay I’d stay if I was in a pinch.

Unclean mold on ceiling in cracks in the room. No shower curtain until 2nd day of stay after asking for one. No ice machine on site. Poor maintenance as a whole. Swimming pool and area closed and over grown with no maintenance.

the room was not up to standards it was hot so I did not stay. I asked for a refund, but I never received anything. The lady at the front desk told me to sign a paper , she said it takes 8 to 10 days for my refund but I never received my refund. i’m very upset about it.

They canceled my reservation after 6 hours from check in I can from out of town with two other people and they canceled all our reservations 6 hours after checking time at 4pm the same day and they gave our rooms away so we had no place to stay

Met some REAL good people. Bring your own towels fyi. Will stay again if ever in the area

Nothing Everything

The tv was on in the room when we checked in and lights were on. The nonsmoking room we booked reeked of cigarettes and there was mold all over the ceiling. The bed was clean, but I didn’t take my shoes off until I was in the bed. The bathroom was physically clean, but the mold went from the room’s door to the bathroom.

The staff was nice…it was just dirty looking. But you pay for what you get.

Rooms were disgusting. Outside was gross as well. Would not ever stay here. We left same day
