OYO Hotel Monroe LA I-20

Nothing! It was condemned, shut down, closed. From the size of the weeds grown up around it had been close for some time. They only had a few paged taped to the doors stating "Water Damage to Roof. Closed." No need because with no lights and trying to find it in the dark, the padlocks on the main door gave that away.

It was not operational and I still have not received any refund unsafe

"Closed due to water and carpet damage." No further explanation.

This hotel is closed... they took the sign down and everything. I don't know how they are still taking non refundable reservations... Looks to have been closed for a year or more...

NOTHING AT ALLLL!!! Everything was dirty and the building looks like it’s about to fall apart. This place is a drug invested facility. There’s drug addicts and prostitution everywhere. No where was clean in the place and it is falling a part. Check the reviews and the photos they are all true. I don’t know how this place is legally able to operate

Absolutely nothing The lobby was hot. The hotel confirmed my reservation however when i arrived the girl at the counter wasn't very friendly and said she saw my reservation but they had no vacancies. Then on top of all that they even had the nerve to still charge my bank card so now I have the joy of trying to find out who to go through to get my money back. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone ever.

nothing it looked abandoned everything it looked abandoned they didn’t provide toilet paper , no ice tried getting a refund from OYÓ itself I was told I couldn’t front desk wouldn’t either. I cried the whole night. It was horrible and I didn’t have enough money to go anywhere else. False advertising with pictures. No pool, no gym it look abandoned

tried to notify them we¿d be late. I connected with someone in New York . He gave me a number after he couldn¿t get in touch with them. The number wasn¿t a working number. we got in late no cars were there. We had to stay somewhere else. Refund pleas It wasn¿t open!

Nothing. I did not stay. Substandard. No A/C in lobby, dirty looking, no elevator to 6rh floor. Would not recommend to anyone.

Beautiful Stained glass windows as you walk through a hallway. The hotel was terribly run down. There were holes in the wall in my room. The room was not very clean at all and was infested with roaches. I suggest you don't sell rooms to people. The room fee was very cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.

The cable worked The hotel looked nothing like the picture, outside looked like a forest. The rooms were horrible, the first room 177, key didn't work, after getting it recorded, It wasn't the key but the housekeeper was locked in the room and looked like she was laying in the bed and the room smelled of strong smoke, just like someone was just smoking. The 2nd 504 room curtains was falling off the window, the baseboard was falling apart. There was a smell of smoke in the non-smoking room and a cigarette was in the toilet. There was no towels, wash cloths, when I went to the front desk and asked for towels was told that Mr. Larry was gone and there was no towels. I saw the smoking housekeeper and asked her for some towels and toilet paper. After 30 minutes, she provided 2 dirty looking towels. The bathroom door was falling apart and couldn't close. The carpet was not clean and had sand all over it. The microwave and refrigerator was for show and the lamps didn't work.

First, even though we were following directions on Apple Maps, we couldn’t find the hotel or the place to turn. The reason for this was the lighting. It was EXTREMELY dark at the point of the entrance to the hotel. When we finally turned in, the complex was HUGE and we turned into the side where parts of the hotel were boarded up, broken windows, etc. It was in a state of abandonment. Then we pull over to the lobby area and I go in to check in. The photos of the ad for the hotel did NOT match this hotel. This was a completely different hotel. There were signs that stated “No vacancy, call your booking company.” The gentleman that helped me was able to see that I had a room, and we checked in. He sent us around to the back to park. When we got around to the back, that area was also not lit well at all and scary. There was a scary-looking person peeking out at us through the curtains inside. It was obvious that the hotel was in a state of remodel, which is fine and that’s not what bothered me. We get in the room and it smelled awful. Like stale cigarettes and musty, moldy smell. It was dirty, there was an empty coke bottle on the floor and there was no toilet paper whatsoever. I picked up the phone to call the front desk for a roll of toilet paper, and there was no phone there. I ended up going to the lobby and grabbing a roll Of toilet paper from the lobby restroom. When we got back to the room, we decided we were sleeping on top of the bed and not in it. That is because I pulled back the cover only to see that I needed to kill a spider that was there…. The sheets also looked like they had not been cleaned. There was 1 towel that wasn’t even shower sized.

Not a thing I didn’t like how unsanitary and disgusting and ran down this place was it should not be in business
