Best Western Plus Monterey Inn

Unhelpful front desk staff. Very noisy building; we could hear people talking next door at midnight. Overall, not a great experience. I wouldn’t stay here again.

My neighbors complain that we were too loud and we were just talking in a normal tone. So I don’t know if their walls are paper thin? Just be warned.

Dated but clean. Great location for waking to main spots. Breakfast got the job done.

Good hotel in a good location. Staff was awesome! Be aware that this hotel does not have air conditioning, though you rarely need it in Monterey. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. WiFi is an open network. Cell service was non-existent (not the hotels fault!). Hotel was clean and rooms were spacious. Bed, Bedding and towels were great!

Nicely appointed hotel. Counter staff helpful and friendly. The outside pool was nice, but small, and had quite a few leaves floating around. We went in the evening, so maybe it is only cleaned/checked once a day.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the harbour, and about 10 minutes drive from the Cannery. Very central. The breakfast room was rather small, but there is a nice terrace - unfortunately it was a bit cold to use it.

Very nice place to stay while I was in the Monterey area. Staff was friendly and the room adequate and clean.

Relatively close to everything we needed. Location was great. If I had to choose one thing I would say the shower wasn't updated.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to Alan. I was running the Big Sur marathon and he shared so much advice and was so encouraging. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Monterrey. This was a great hotel.

Great stay and awesome staff. bed very comfortable and good breakfast options. Only concern sounds through walls can be an issue.
