Very well kept and very nice room

Parking is free, check in/out is quick and easy, staff were kind. Room is simple, but spacious. Had no complaints for the price paid. Walls are a bit thin, so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to opt for place.

It has thin floors, could easily hear people on above floor walking, shouting and screaming at 2 in the night.

Perfect stay for one night to be near the Monterey Bay Aquarium

Only coffee in the morning & it wasn’t very good.

Perfectly pleasant, clean rooms, restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance. For the price (by Monterey standards), it’s good. A bit of road noise. Was going to charge me an early check in fee but there wasn’t a room available. Should knock it off with that low-class nickel and diming.

Staff was so kind!

The location was just s short walk down to the Harbour. Free parking. There was nothing I didn't like.

This is a very clean, affordable hotel. With high gas and travel prices, we were happy to select modest lodging.

I stayed here overnight for a Spartan Race and it was exactly what I needed. The location was central to everything, which made getting around super easy. The beds were nice and soft, and the shower had great water pressure with plenty of hot water. Parking was also very convenient. Overall, a comfortable and hassle‑free stay.

Pleasant motel, close to downtown Monterey, Fisherman’s wharf, aquarium etc.

The hotel is newly renovated so everything is very nice. Bed was comfortable but smaller than in the other places. Room was very clean and staff very kind. Until 10pm is quite noise because of the streets but late is very peaceful.

Negatives: The parking spaces were a little tight, but it seemed like there were enough for the number of rooms available. We could hear the upstairs neighbor a bit, but it was never booming. Overall, we really liked this hotel and even recommended it to family members.

Clean and worth the price N/A

There was no breakfast. Coffee was available in the office after 7:00 AM. There was only one chair to sit on and spouse had to sit on the edge of the bed even though there was room for more furniture. No pen or paper to write on. There was no full length mirror. Towels were thin and only two available. Parking filled up causing us to park on the street beyond no parking signs. Parking spaces were very narrow, even for our subcompact car which barely fit between the lines.

However, there were a few issues. We were in a corner room, which unfortunately for us meant no real window other than the frosted glass over the beds, so yes we had natural light, but it was a bit disconcerting not to have a view to the outside. Additionally, the room was VERY small. And finally, the one chair we had was badly stained, such that we did not want to actually sit on it. So our only option was to sit on the beds. Our experience did not match expectations from the pictures included in the listing. Bottom line, it’s functionally adequate, but we would not stay here again.
