Clean place, welcoming and friendly staff. Easy access walkable to all downtown, the wharf, cannery row. Would stay here again.

Our three days stay was nice, room was better than expected clean and spacious. The location is pretty great, we walked to the Wharf, downtown for dinner and a farmers market, and to Friendly Park. Hotel is within miles of all of the favorite tourist spots.

Not as clean as the reviews stated. Stain on carpet, bathroom floor few dirty along baseboards and slight mold growth in the shower.

Not a bad place to stay but not for kids. The property does not have a pool and the parking lot is quite small but it works. An easy 10 min walk takes you to several shops, restaurants, and other local specialties where families can enjoy. Although I wouldn’t stay again, it’s better suited for couples

Room was very clean, and good size. Room service and cleaning was exceptional. Beds could use a little updating on bedding and mattress, my husband said the dip in the middle hurt his back. Walls are a little thin so you can hear everything. Overall it’s a great little spot or a quick getaway that’s walkable to everything.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. Didn’t smell like smoke, thankfully. Appears to be family run, I saw three generations. Last year when I stopped in Monterey, I found that long row of 20+ motels and hotels all on one street. I thought I’d just go there again, but I’m glad I found this place instead. This will be my favorite stopover to return to every summer!.

The rooms were small, which was fine since we weren't in the room much and were only there for two nights. It is an older facility that has clearly been renovated, which again, didnt bother us but it definitely had the feel of an older motel or inn, which might put some people off.

The housekeepimg staff were excellent Ellie and Irma I interactive the most. The owners were very gracious and very personable a truly family business. Some of the noise from other guests was not addressed, but at least it didn't continued past 10:00 PM.I enjoy the inaction with the owners and the housekeeping staff very pleasantI

I loved this place, only stayed for the night but it was so relaxing and clean Only thing I didn’t care for is it was 50$ to check in early! As far as everything else I was satisfied. Wish I would’ve went to the pool.

It is convenient for the price. The water pressure in the shower was sad and the shower head is in need of being changed. The floor in the room had a nice stain on the carpet and one of the chairs looked like it had been peed on and poorly cleaned. But the staff was nice and the room worked for our stay needs since we didn’t spend much time in the room.
-
The room was nice and a decent size. It was pretty clean and affordable. The parking was really tight and it’s in a weird location on a corner with only one way in and one way out. The neighbors behind our room were loud until about 11 PM, and the lady at the desk was serious and unfriendly.
-
As expected with many motels in the area, of course they are old so expectations are not high, but there was so much noise from the road. It sounded like elephants living upstairs, banging doors headlights coming in through the window not a great night sleep very pricey, but as I explained to those with us that complained, I explained it’s always gonna be more at the beach. It literally was like $100 a night property not almost 300

Very well kept and very nice room
-
Parking is free, check in/out is quick and easy, staff were kind. Room is simple, but spacious. Had no complaints for the price paid. Walls are a bit thin, so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to opt for place.
-
It has thin floors, could easily hear people on above floor walking, shouting and screaming at 2 in the night.
-
everything good
-
Nice basic motel. Good location.
-
Perfect stay for one night to be near the Monterey Bay Aquarium
-
Only coffee in the morning & it wasn’t very good.
