Colton Inn

My room was fine. The shower had a strong flow. The parking was free, but the slots were real tight. The room did not have air conditioning. It did have a ceiling fan that was to far from the bed to keep you cool. The people that worked the front desk were very polite and helpful.

What a gem in Monterey! First time we stayed here and we are so impressed! Breakfast is included and there is a nice patio to relax in. Our room was on the third floor over the little babbling brook and included a fireplace. The room was very clean and spacious with plenty of outlets for phones etc. Can we talk about the comfortable beds??!!! Not too soft not too hard. Room had a little table and two chairs for eating. The elevator was handy for my mom who gets around slowly. I look for fridge, microwave, elevator and location and Colton Inn hit all of these. Super close to Macys and the mall as well as downtown, the wharf and pier. Starbucks was just a little walk to downtown as well as the walking/bike path along the water. Also super close to restaurants and attractions. We loved our stay and will definitely book again!

Staff on property so friendly and so accommodating. Clean and modern rooms. Quiet too. Breakfast had a nice assortment. Thank you for a great stay we will come back again.

Great location close to Old Monterey (Alvarado Street, etc, Fisherman's Wharf). Good sized rooms. Good continental breakfast. It's a motor inn, so room open up to the outside. Free parking. Would have been nice to have ev charging.,though.

Tired hotel, whole place needs a revamp. Breakfast was like being at a hostel. Staff unhelpful to my requests.

Great location for Fishermans Wharf, which was a 10 min walk away.

Being a senior citizen, I would suggest additional handicap rails be installed to prevent someone from slipping and falling…

We had a great stay at the Colton and we’ll definitely go back. Great location, nice breakfast, clean room, friendly staff and free parking.

It was clean The room was on a Main Street- right down the street from the fire department ...fire trucks snd sirens all night long

Bathroom and beds were very clean. Outside cracked concrete and steps. Feels like a motel. Good coffee, but breakfast 4/10. Good location, walkable to Alvarado st and Fishermans warf.

I didn't enjoy the breakfast. No warm food. Basically, to me the breakfast was cold.

Room was in great condition and location was within easy walking distance to downtown.

The room was large and comfortable. Continental breakfast was good... decent coffee, tea, instant oatmeal, cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, juice, milk. Great location next to the library and only a short 5 minute walk to the main street and down to the ocean. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance.
