Disappointing

The room is at a good location, close to downtown Monterery and was clean enough for the 2 nights we stayed. It's right next to the main road leading into town and 4 blocks from the beach. The Wi-Fi was very weak and slow. Although it didn't affect our overall comfort, it was annoying when trying to research restaurants, plan navigation routes, and research and order tickets, to the aquarium for example. We had to leave and do these functions elsewhere while getting breakfast.

Plumbing is in disrepair, noisy and not working properly

It was a basic place to sleep and shower. Not horrible, kind of cute, pretty clean but could use a remodel. It was walkable to StarBucks. No microwave but had a small fridge with freezer big enough for an ice pack to keep my medication cool. We had two queen beds, they charged $20 for a third person. Shampoo and soap dispensers were full enough. Sink outside of the bathroom so someone could shower or potty while others get ready. We got there late on Friday night just before check in and there was just one parking spot left then we got there midnight the next night and we still got the last spot. WiFi password was posted at the office window but didn’t stay connected. We’ll try something closer to Monterey Bay Aquarium next time.

Didn’t like Way to small for the price

When we check in the lady was very nice. Help me find a pizza delivery place near by she even let me use her phone because mine wasn’t working for what ever reason but anyways she was a great help. Little details of cleaning the room like dust and restroom and parking lot was tiny but made the best of it.

The location was good. Outside maintenance is good. The parking lot is very small, to the point once you park it’s hard to get out without hitting your door on the car next to you. Our room floor was very dirty our feet were dirty. The walls and baseboards were very dirty. The light fixture above the sink had about 2 inches of dust, so obviously the lack of deep cleaning after each check out.

The price?! Short walk to the beach was nice. Hair in bed and shower, room and bathroom had dirty corners. The bed squeaked every time we moved. The fridge, flush, fan, everything was outdated and super loud. It sounded like water running/dripping in the night.

Room was adequate and comfortable. Amenities were satisfactory and met expectations. Although generally clean, there were smudges on the walls n a few places, but the room was satisfactory and did meet expectations. The rent was justified due to location. Room could have been cleaner in infrastructure (smudged walls, baseboards).
