Very old condition. Need renovation. Felt like late 60's motel

haunted but no. We were on the fourth floor in a room facing the street. It felt like we were sleeping in an active construction site filled with angry seagulls. Looking out the window, there was no construction going on so not sure where all of that noise was coming from. Long story short, glad we only stayed there one night.

The area surrounding this hotel is located in a very convenient and accessible location with many things to do. However, does hotels also very inconvenience with no refrigerator in the room, no microwave in the room as well as no ice machine on the floors. Not recommended for families

Room was clean, which is most important. But…hotel reception not friendly or welcoming. Hotel carpet is gross…stained and had feathers and leaves on it. Lots of odd stairs and an odd walkway to get to historic part. The cold water went out a few times during my shower in the historic part which nearly burned me. Paint was chipped on cabinets. Windows to street let in every noise. All in all…this hotel is easy past its prime.

Pet friendly and quiet

The staff were all nice and helpful. There is no parking on the premises but the parking place was near and still convenient. The hotel itself was very old and had a Victorian feel and vibe. The room was tiny, so if you are claustrophobic it might not be suitable place to stay in.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The coffee cafe next door was delicious with great music. We had a beautiful room. Very happy
-
Nice place with one exception, No air conditioning in the rooms. The room was warm & stuffy. Staff was kind & brought us a fan.

Front desk staff Hotel is old and the hardware works the opposite of what I’m used to. We couldn’t get in the room so the keys were re-keyed but couldn’t get in. Turns out you have to lift the door handle up to open the door. Then couldn’t get shower to turn on also but needed instructions. The smoke alarm started to chirp so they sent a young man to turn it off. He didn’t have a battery with him so he took it downstairs to see if he could find a battery. He couldn’t get it to work so we were without a smoke detector. We stayed 2 nights but housekeepers didn’t clean our room after the first night

The location of the hotel can’t be better. Walking to restaurants the pier etc. this is our secondtime staying here. The carpets downstairs are worn but the room was beautiful. Beds comfortable but room hot no ac. The staff are wonderful

Great staff! Katie at the front desk was very helpful

Very old building they don’t mention when booking that there’s a new part and an old part. Rooms very small. Pictures of rooms not same shows fridge in room not indicated only in new part of hotel. No AC rooms very hot. Huge stains on carpet in room. There’s water in hallways but no cups to get water. Bed was so uncomfortable. Shower curtain barely fits shower water gets all over floor. Sounds of birds outside window is all day and night. You can hear everything in rooms on floor above you. Just not a good experience at all tried to change rooms and was told no rooms available. Just not a good experience at all.

It was a neat old hotel. Location was perfect

The beds were very clean with new linens, the overall feeling of the hotel was a bit dated though.

The valet parking was helpful as the hotel is on a busy street. You do have to pay a flat rate fee of course. There is a parking a garage across the street as well. The staff is very kind, helpful and responsive. The room was clean. Personally, I think if I just needed a place to stay on a solo vacation, because I was going to be out exploring most of the days, it’s a good option. If I had more people in my group, I’d probably look into a different stay and room. Cafe’s, restaurants, beaches and other things to explore is walking distance so that was a huge plus!

Lack of refrigerator and microwave

The staff were very welcoming at this facility, while the rooms had some cleanliness issues, such as a dirty carpet, dirt on my bedsheets, and no screens to block insects from entering through the windows, the room was cozy and billed at an affordable price. If the rates for this hotel stay consistent, I would actually find myself staying here once more, but if the aspects of the room I listed above are dealbreakers for you then do try and find a more mainstream hotel to stay with. Overall, they treated me with respect and provided plenty of bathroom amenities such as soaps, towels, cups, moisturizer and a hair dryer to make my stay comfortable.

Great location! Otherwise mold in bathroom, stairs everywhere- make sure you tell them if stairs are a problem. Can't be helped- loud seagulls, I got no sleep

This hotel is centrally located at a great price point. Communally shared spaces were a bit aged but our large room had modern amenities and included a working fireplace; and the hotel had a pet area, and private-use hot tub that we could reserve for an hour at a time. If anything was needed in the room, all we had to do was request it at the front desk and it was brought up to us in minutes. We’d stay there again given the cost for value ratio.
