Courtyard by Marriott Scranton Montage Mountain

Clean Only negative I have to say is I requested a room for 5 people. There were 2 beds for 4 people and the 5th person was expected to sleep on a one seater small couch, literally sitting up. So pay attention those details when it says 5 people capacity. Other than that nice experience.

I could not believe it was a courtyard hotel

Rooms were clean, staff was very pleasant.

Very nice and quiet

Hotel was in a good location- close to interstate and restaurants. Room was clean. Unfortunately the cafe/bar was closed. No breakfast orCOFFEE!

The staff was very friendly and quick to rectify an issue with key cards-excellent service! The workout room though small had enough hand weights and machines that I could get a good workout. The laundry facility was free and convenient. They have a lovely outside seating area to enjoy beautiful weather. I traveled daily to Wilkes-Barre and Scranton destinations and the hotel's location made it easy to get around. I'd stay here again.

I stayed one night, and the hotel had an outage of their electronic key card system. The staff handled it amazingly - they had to let us into our rooms.

Listing has free breakfast listed, reality is only paid breakfast is offered on property. Free wifi but every 24 hours each device needs to login again with room number and name along with several steps to work. Very random housekeeping, first three days cleaning daily then nothing for two weeks, no mention during checking or listing that housekeeping is on request. Even after requesting they took out trash and changed towels, no sheet change in two week long stay, no vacuuming.

The rooms were not clean. The curtains were ripped to an extent I had to call and make sure they are aware and not going to charge me for it. THey confirmed they are aware and waiting for replacements. Also, their access cards get demagnetized as soon as you put them near your wallet or phone which happens all the time so you have to go and keep getting them fixed which was a pain. Bathrooms were poorly cleaned. Bath tubs were slimy and not cleaned. No housekeeping. Coffee shop downstairs only open from 7-10 am which was inconvenient. Outside of the property was also not very well maintained.

The mattress support creeks.Whenever you get on the bed. Having sex can be very noisy. The breakfast was so so and I had to look for the lady who was working the counter. I think the continental breakfast is free. But if you order eggs or oatmeal or anything like that, you will pay. Beware of sitting on the toilet because it's exceptionally low to the ground. The bathroom floor was a little bit on the greasy side. But the young lady that checked this in was great and full of enthusiasm. Her name is amanda.

Clean room, very friendly staff, and everything was as advertised. The area was also very accommodating with everything you could want/need for a trip while still surrounded by nature.

There 6 days never made bed never vaccuum room,mattress stained

Only issue - out of chardonnay for several days so a disappointment for me and no sale for the hotel.

My room was disgustingly dirty. The tub was disgusting with rust and mold. Stains everywhere in the room. I would never book this hotel again.

Room smells really bad

Great stay, very clean, staff was great and professional. If you are looking for a place to stay thats very close to Montage Mountain, stay here. I will be back. But, I had to get evacuated by fire department due to a “gas smell” there was no gas leak but everyone got evacuated. They did refund is but being stuck without a place to stay at 10 at night was hectic.

Decent stay, cool view, hotel was a little dated BUT it was clean and had what was needed. The downside was the menu/bar area. extremely limited menu (mostly stuff that is likely heated in a microwave) and out of almost all alcohol. Sitting down and having a decent drink after a 12 hour drive wasn't an option and it was a little disappointing. Would stay again. Good value for the money.

Nice place

The room was very musty and in need of a refurbishment. I would not recommend this hotel for this reason. The other hotel amenities were as expected.
