Comfort Suites Scranton near Montage Mountain

Very good

Superb

Location, good restaurants close by, friendly staff Carpet stains in hallway, paint or drywall spatter on bathroom wall

The coffee was good and the waffles were okay, although it took a long time to get to them. The rest was just meh. Breakfast was just okay-we were very surprised when it ended at 9:00 on Sunday morning! Also, there was no fresh fruit, clearly the scrambled eggs were not from fresh (very grainy), bacon was swimming in grease, no yogurt, etc., etc..

The cleanliness of the lobby and rooms. When you enter the hotel, it smells so good, the whole lobby was impeccable. We fail to recognize the excellent performance of the cleaning staff and how important they are to a great experience. Kudos to those at Comfort Suites.

great hotel and staff, comfortable rooms and great amenities.

Exceptional

Room carpet was stained. Black mold in the bathroom grout. Noisey Someone ran down the hall yelling and it wasn't a child it was like a frat house. I could hear someone coughing like he was in my room could easily hear someone in the next room. Left the hotel early couldn't take the noise and not so clean hotel 😒

Passable

Walls a little thin. But great stay!

Good

Hotel was very clean and organized. Room was very comfortable and clean. The only drawback for me was that the breakfast time was too short. I believe the breakfast service was open from 7-9. Would have preferred 7-10 especially on Saturday and Sunday. But the in-room coffee was a plus. They also had available a few meal selections, at a cost of course, but easy to cook in your room with the available microwave if you didn't want to go out after a long day of driving.

I have stayed here a few times. 5-6. Always been good value This time I noticed a price increase and I think the they had a heard of elephants in the room above me My complaint is with Bookings. I will deal with them separately and if the outcome is not good I will not use again. It is near impossible to speak to a person at Bookings

Convient location and amenities Turned on heat in room and smoke detectors went off at 1am

Breakfast and elevator noise

Exceptional

This was a very clean, updated hotel located close to the interstate highway. The room was spacious and quiet. There was a full breakfast with several choices. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to other travelers.

Check in was easy, Staff was nice. Location was convent. Room needed some updates, Stains on the walls, and on the rugs. Found some random hairs around the room including in the bed.
