Hampton Inn Scranton at Montage Mountain

The breakfast was very good. And the staff was professional and friendly. Our room was right outside the cleaning staffs hub. They were very loud early in the AM.

The first room that was assigned to us, the mattress was filthy. there were crusty stains and what looked like bed bug excrement in the stitching of the mattress. I went to the front desk to ask for another room and was offered the one next the first one. That one smelled like vomit, and the mattress was filthy as well. I reported the condition again to the front desk, to then be told there were no more rooms available, and that the hotel was booked solid. I was traveling with my family of and have 2 small kids and a small dog.

No shampoo in the shower, limited television channels. Hot breakfast choices were limited. Room was clean. Need better pillows.

The location was right off the highway. The first room smelled like wet dog. I asked to change rooms and was told only queen rooms were available and the second room had black mold literally all over the bathroom walls. Not clean, did not smell good would never recommend. We ended up leaving after the second failed room and drove 6+ hours straight home. The front desk staff weren't rude but they really didn't care too much.

Our only gripe is, the basic breakfast spread with no omelette’s on the menu.

Great for traveling with a pet and yummy breakfast.

Great place to stop with a pet, there is a nice walking path around the building. Great breakfast, clean rooms, plenty of parking.

I loved the atmosphere of the hotel. The staff was super friendly and answered any questions we had. We loved the breakfast in the morning too!

The location was perfect close to the event I was attending to. I had a situation that the late night clerk Kashif fixed ASAP and I really appreciated it I don’t really care for dogs and they was everywhere and I have asthma let the rest run with your imagination
