the hotel is nice and fresh . outside the grass needed to be cut. looked a little unkept. The staff in the breakfast area were friendly and doing a great job considering they were out of cream and milk . The reception staff were very friendly and got us in our room in a timely manner.

Other than that, the area is very nice with a beautiful view of the mountains.

All the clerks were amazing. The hotel was clean. There was a gym in a pool. I wish I took pictures to post, but it was a very busy weekend. I would definitely stay again my family and I had an amazing time.

Excellent property

We like the location as this was the 6th time we stayed here during travel. We were given a room on an upper floor facing the baseball field. This was our 6th stay at the Fairfield Inn, Montage Mountain. Had actually stayed twice in a week for travel. We have always booked a King room, not a suite, but had always been given a nice size room with ample space. I thought that was how the Kings were. This time we were given a very small room after the desk clerk asked to see my paperwork which I thought was strange. I believe he saw that I had booked through a 3rd party, and gave us a small room. I had previously talked with him by phone and he said he had a nice, large corner room he would give us. This room had a very loud squeaking bathroom door. We had to leave it partially open during the night so as not to disturb each other. The ice machine on the 4th floor was still not working 6 days after our previous stay. There were food crumbs around the 3rd floor ice machine that were there 6 days prior. The breakfast was very basic, disappointing. There were 3 employees standing around talking when we were checking out. When I told one of them about the issues she said I had not booked a Suite so that’s what a King room is like. This hotel used to be nice when it was newer, but it is not being well maintained

As on previous stays at this hotel, we had a nice, large room, on a high floor, facing the ballpark. Breakfast was okay, pretty much as expected. Very good location with restaurants nearby, and some shopping. We had stayed here 4 other times during trips, and were very happy so we returned on our way to Maine. Our room was very nice, and the kind of room we have had in the past. Unlike previous visits when the hotel was newer, some things were not being maintained. Water in the bathroom sink drained very slowly. The ice machine on the 4th floor was not working so we had to use the one on the 3rd floor. There was food on the floor by that machine that had not been cleaned. When we were ready to leave on Sunday morning nobody was working the front desk….as I wanted to report these issues. I was at the front desk a few times, and nobody was there. I found out when we were returning home from Maine, that the person preparing the breakfast was also in charge of the front desk! Difficult to do both jobs.

Great stay at this Fairfield that is located at an exit with shopping, restaurants, a large movie theater, etc. The staff was very friendly, parking well lit, and amenities very nice. I didn’t use the pool or workout areas as I wasn’t there long enough, but enjoyed the outside seating area with tables, chairs, and umbrellas.

Clean room, good breakfast and plenty of parking

It was a nice property. It reminded me of a ski lodge. It had a nice workout room as well as a pool and a nice view of the minor league baseball field. It also had a good location right across from good restaurants and shopping.

This was a very clean, new hotel with all the comforts you could want. The room was well-appointed with little hooks to hang your jackets and small bags, nice places to put your luggage and an ample bathroom. It was nicely decorated and modern. Breakfast was more than sufficient. We traveled with our two small pets and found that the pet area out back was not so good. That area needs work, but overall this hotel was excellent. The staff at check in and departure were both very pleasant, and they were helpful when there was noise outside our room after 10:00pm. There was plenty of parking, plenty of luggage racks, and a beautiful setting for breakfast overlooking the mountains.

Location and breakfast Waited 15 minutes for key then it didn't work had to go back to front desk. Called a few days before to make sure the pool was going to be open answer was yes. After check in we went to use the pool it was freezing so we went to front desk to see if it could be warmer then woman at desk said the pool was closed for 48 hours for cleaning. She instantly asked if we wanted a refund and find another hotel. We said no, didn't feel like packing everything up again. Anyway the room was ok the toilet was very loose, the sink hot water was extremely overly hot. The rest of the room was good.
