Four Points by Sheraton Mt Prospect O'Hare

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Filthy. Run down. Elevator was clunky. No trash cans in lobby or outside. When I asked the man behind the bar, which was closed the entire stay, if he could throw a cup away for me he was very disgruntled. The woman at the front desk during check in was fairly kind though.

Way over priced and gratuity automatically included (goes to owner and cook not waiter) Paid $125 for 2 people. Everything is à la cart 2 eggs/$10! $5/Cheese $13 blueberries dropped on top of Terrible battered pancake. Mimosa flight $25 nice flavor variety. Nice staff, wait time was good. The owner was a little stand-offish. Despite receiving compliments on the decor & nice Atmosphere. plenty of places for photo ops. However, the bees, inside and out, were very annoying!

Everything was good! Reasonable price for a comfy stay during a business trip.

I liked nothing. I had a confirmation for a stay and then when I got there they told me there was no rooms available. I was left to find another place at 1:30am with my 5 month old child There was no attempt at helping me find a place to stay. I arrived in the middle of the night due to flight delays and I had a 5 month old infant with me. We just needed a safe place to sleep and no one even attempted to help us.

We had to be moved to three different rooms. First room there was a curling iron and people’s clothes still left in the drawers. Second room the air was not working.

Location and this was not what I expected from LaQuinta! Definitely will be exploring your other locations! Beautiful property and well located.

Besides front desk not answering calls and “hot tub” not being hot, overall stay was good!

I did not repeat the shuttle experience and opted to order an Uber on leaving. Positive - I got a takeout from a local restaurant 'Karavan' and that was terrific, but not enough to encourage me to stay here again.

The staff were not helpful and made very little effort to communicate or resolve the issues I raised. Arranging the shuttle between the airport and the hotel was also very frustrating. I waited around an hour for the shuttle and nearly missed my flight, and the staff did not seem particularly concerned. I also had an issue with my deposit after checking out. I did not receive the full amount back, and when I contacted the hotel, I was initially told that no additional charges had been made. After I asked for a copy of the bill, I noticed that there was in fact a charge. When I questioned it, I was told, “You might have ordered a drink or something, we don’t know.” I did not order anything, and the charge was never properly explained or refunded. Overall, the level of service and communication was very disappointing.

After a long day of walking we were excited that they had a pool and especially a hot tub. We went to the local Walmart to grab some swimwear. When we went in to use the hot tub, the water did not look clean. We did not go in but dipped our toes to see if it was working. Hot tub was as cold as the pool. There were no out of order signs. We ask the front desk lady and instead of apologizing she said that was a hot as it gets.

Urgent major maintenance and remodeling for this hotel. Cleaning in the rooms is maybe a 6 out of 10. Mold in the bathtub, damaged walls, broken mirror and very noisy A/C....window shaded with problems also. Very good location near the airport and restaurants.

Service and check in, getting items brought not in room (like toilet paper, etc) and check out were in incredibly slow and painful!

Exceptional

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the facility could use some TLC. Landscaping needed to be maintained and weeded. The room was clean and stocked but the carpet could use a good shampoo or replacement. The A/C was way too cold and the thermostat didn't seem to work. We had to turn the A/C completely off. The facility overall was okay but could use some extra effort in cleaning. I didn't like that breakfast was a la carte, so we went elsewhere to eat. Not a lot of options nearby for dining out.

Nothing. I will never stay there again. My room smelled like a sewer. There was overflowing trash all over the hotel. The free coffee in the lobby is always empty and never gets replaced. There are weeds all over the entrance. How can Sheraton Bonvoy allow this to go on? See above!!!
