Pleasant

Friendliness of staff, the bed was good. The facilities were very worn, even though they working on the outside.

The room was spacious. Easy to access from the road and about 30 minute walk to Broadway (straight shot). There is construction going on in the front of the building so it’s not the greatest to see at the moment but the inside of the building was clean. The bathroom could use some updates but it was great for a girl’s weekend trip! Valet and front desk were super nice.

Hotel is definitely outdated and is under construction but over all staff was friendly, good location and our room was spacious. Definitely over priced for the dates we booked but over all not a bad place to stay.

Hotel was being renovated while we were there so aesthetics were not great. The lobby staff was usually on their phones as we passed through but we didn’t need anything but I’d say it felt less “friendly”. While I knew we were a mile from downtown, the walk back didn’t feel quite as safe around the hotel area so most nights we used an Uber. The room and hall smelled “off” and everything just seemed more dated and old than a typical Marriott experience. It was fine but I would not recommend it and would not go back.

The property was clean but it was under construction. We didn't have access to the rooftop area due to construction, which was a reason for the selection. Also the bar was only open the first night of our stay. The bar tender for the last 2 nights called out or never showed and we had to go out to get drinks. The room was very spacious and clean.

The stay was alright. Price was good for the location. Water pressure in the shower was good.

Air conditioning was broken in summer. They fixed it the next morning, but boy was it hot.

Bad

The hotel was undergoing a lot of renovations. The lobby was kinda hip. My room was basic, but large and clean. If you are looking for a basic room that is safe, clean, and inexpensive for the area, this is a solid choice. I'd stay again. If you want nicer furnishings, etc., this is not your place.

The staff was very helpful with their knowledge of the area and with all the concerns we had. Whatever we needed they were very happy to accommodate our wishes. They had many options for breakfast and also had a bar and ample seating in the lobby. A wonderful place with many restaurants and close to the downtown area.

Hotel itself was good. Great location on West end. Problem was the parking they're not realized there is no self park at the hotel only valet parking. It's construction where you pull up to Valley Park so there's no place to pull the park your car to get out to valet. Go over on the building five times on the 5th pass there's finally somebody at the valet stand and confirm yeah you can't self Park Valley Park I saw there's no place to pull he said I don't want to tell you. We ended up parking across the street you know public parking structure. Hotel itself is kind of dated but it was clean enough it was good for one night's day location is good but hopefully they get the parking fixed
