The room had a slightly musty smell and the bathroom door rubbed on floor pretty hard. There were no outlets next to the bed for cell phones

People above my room making noise...hard foot steps.

We liked the fact that it was a bed and bathroom at a reasonable price (for the area and time of year). We didn't expect luxury, and it def wasn't. We appreciated the helpfulness of the gentleman there who answered any questions and gave help for local restaurants. Thank you! The room was not in great shape; wired looked exposed around the air conditioner cord. The towel bar was ripped off the wall in the bathroom, with not even a hook to hang clothes there. The only one waste can in the room was very small with no additional bags for garbage. If there was an ice machine available, there was no information given for that or any other instructions. There were no extra amenities (such as extra soap...one very small cake), or plain shampoo (just I clouded with conditioner), although we didn't ask about it either. Upon arriving (early, before check in time) there was no one in the "office" although he came promptly when he saw we arrived. A step right outside the entrance door was not "marked" as such and I spilled my coffee going out the door due to the "drop". Hangers on the clothing rack would have been nice. Were there any soda or snack machines available? As I said, it "perfectly" fulfilled our purpose, but def wasn't for the "picky person" Oh, the bed linens (sheets) were stained with brown markings; looked like an old blood stain on the one, as well as brownish marks along the one side. Thank you for a "cheap overnighter" (2 nights...).

Nothing This was one of the worst places we have stayed. Walked in the room it reeked of smoke, room wasn't clean. Woke up in the morning from smelling cigarette smoke from room next door. Disgusting place. Never again.

Bed was comfortable Unable to shower … nozzle was broken

Location Strong musty/mold smell in room. Couldn't open window (broken). It needs more money than the owners can afford. I can't believe i paid $175 for that room....

It was very quiet and peaceful The rooms where out dated and the shower was terrible from the pressure to the temperature changing every two seconds

It was close to the beach . The mother and son owners tired to address my issues. This place looks cute at a distance but once you get to the check in desk, you have to ring a bell and cannot go in. The place is badly run down. Chipped paint, internet didn’t work, room was horrible with very cheap furniture, 1 electric socket, no soap and 2 towels. The son tried to fix the internet but wasn’t successful. The mother and son were very friendly. I don’t mean this to sound racist because it is not. Indian Americans have been wonderful to me (got me through my MBA) and are the richest immigrant group. However; I have noticed that when the first generation comes over, they always buy a business and it usually does well. NOT with motels! I see a tendency to go for the cheapest of the cheap. It’s like this is “old Calcutta style” which is horrible for those not of that culture. I really think it is a question of not knowing any better! Cheap and horrible everything! I wish all of those that owned motels would aspire for excellence. This is not the first time that I this has happened. For Memorial Day, had a room at Eden Roc motel in Ocean City Maryland. It was cheaper but the room had a twin bed with no room for a seat or table. Very dirty! I asked the manager at the front desk why were the rooms so horrible and he became very rude. I complained to Booking (who admitted that they do not review their properties) which I found shocking!! Booking has horrible customer service and they try and disregard any thing that you say- great prices but the worst customer service. I blame Booking.

It had a creepy feel. Old carpet, old outdated shower curtain, furniture. I'd wouldn't recommend it as a first choice....

Inn was clean, staff helpful. Got what I paid for.

Location is good Couldn't empty the trash every day could have changed the sheet everyday

It's a small thing, but the little soap was terrible. Situated on noisy road. The curtains were okay, but I wish they blocked out the light a bit more and closed at the bottom (the AC fan blew them open a little).

it was semi close to the beach , and took cash as payment nothing but a bed, shower, and a tv. There was no ice or snack machines, it was dated, and towels was not much bigger than hand towels. It felt dirty but it wasn't if that makes sense.

The check in was easy and the air conditioner worked very well The Jersey shore in general, but it’s actually insane that a room here costs more than $200.

Nothing Room smells, dirty carpeting, peeling wallpaper, sink does not drain, bed is hard and uncomfortable, outdated furnishings, couldn't sleep, my body and scalp itched when I got up in the morning, never again.

Location Stains on the door, hasn’t been renovated since the 80s. Towel rack was missing, shower was dirty, toilet was dirty, the other towel rack was pulled out of the wall, mirror may have been a two-way mirror, dresser had a strong mildew smell and was unusable. I’ve never seen a more rundown hotel room. We were very uncomfortable.

Nothing. Not clean. Old and very worn rooms. Stained sheets. Front desk not manned. Called for over one hour and no one answered.
