AC Hotel by Marriott New Orleans French Quarter

This is a walkable hotel. A quick walk to the French Quarter.

Loved the location! It was close enough everything was within walking distance, yet far enough away from the noise that it was quite. Our key cards were constantly resetting. We weren't keeping them near our phones or in our wallets, but we would have to have them recorded multiple times a day. It was most frustrating when coming in super late and we needed it to get in the front door.

The hotel is descent. It did what it needed to do. Nothing spectacular. It could use an upgrade. Microwave/mini fridge in the room.

Found a dirty fork on the seat of the desk chair upon arrival. I was also very disappointed to be in a room with no window to the outside, we had a window but it was to the hallway so I never knew what outside looked like or what time of day it was without checking. Also the ac in the room was either extremely cold or extremely stuffy no happy medium. I wasn’t horrible but I definitely would not book here again.

I had to wait for extra 2 hours for a room. They didn’t have anyone to clean didn’t have enough cleaners

The hotel is covenantally close to everything with bourbon street located a block away. The hotel itself is very outdated but it was a pleasant stay.

Centrally located to bourbon street. Easy access to everything around !!!!!

I went and had another conversation with the manager again she sent engineering to my room to inspect things and then she blamed my wife and myself for having a soda pop in the garbage that is nowhere near the bathroom and said it was our fault for having a soda pop in the trash. The soda pop bottle had a top tightly fixed to it so it’s not like it was hanging upside down. I would not recommend this hotel. It needs to be updated fumigated and stop blaming their customers because they have a bug issue ! I am very disappointed in Marriott. I expected better.

You shouldn’t have to pay extra for breakfast. That’s the only thing I didn’t like. Everything else is OK.

Facility was not very well maintained. For example, the door for the bathroom was coming off the railings, the TV was slow, and there were other areas that could be better maintained. However, the staff was courteous and the location was close by several restaurants. There's more affordable parking off site.

Hotel needs to be updated a bit. The pictures look a lot nicer than it is in person. The check in person (lady) was dismissive and not pleasant. If you need something convenient and clean, this is an "ok" spot.

But again staff were very helpful!!

I rarely stay places multiple times but this was my second time in two months I’ve stayed here. It’s the perfect location, the staff is very helpful, professional and welcoming, and I just enjoy my stay here every single time. I WILL BE BACK!
