My first time ever and it was great! We didn’t have a vehicle due to everything being close to vicinity.

Clean room

Felt safe in hotel. Polite staff. Room needs upgrades. Body wash falling off of wall. Walls around shower had water damage. Booking included free parking. At check in they stated we had 50% off because we are a member. Had to show reservation con to get it corrected. Shower didn’t drain well. Complimentary drinks were to be served at 5. Waited till 5:20 and no drinks. Ate at restaurant during happy hour. Was told my order didn’t come with something listed because it was happy hour even though it was listed. Had to tell waitress and she stated the new manager said it wasn’t included. After I showed her the menu she took it to the kitchen and brought the item. Food was tasty. Definitely get the truffle fries. Wasn’t disappointed but wasn’t impressed with the overall hotel experience. $300+ for one night, I expected more.

Again, wonderful staff, but I really wish I stayed somewhere else. In all fairness, this seems to be the case with most of the hotels in this area. I blame Bourbon Street. Trying the Garden District next time.

The staff was fantastic, everyone was welcoming. The highlight of our stay was Miss Yvette at check in. Every recommendation and suggestion given was on point. I highly recommend this hotel was like a home away from home.

At the risk of being pithy, this Renaissance needs a Renaissance. It’s tired, worn, and rough, and not in the gothic sort of way that makes NOLA charming. It’s a sad hotel room. It’s clean but tired. The room was small with small beds. There are no dressers or places to leave your stuff for 5 nights. Wallpaper is starting to peel and buckle at the seams. Theres a slight must smell. The finishing in the bathroom is rusting and oxidizing. The art in the bathroom was cracked. The tub drained so slowly (and after a jazzfest day, not the water you want to stand in). The lobby was dark and tired. The furniture was worn out. The gym was small and cramped. And the floor was uneven making a work out unsteady. It’s conveniently located to canal and elsewhere but not the most active block. I’ve stayed at other renaissance before and been very satisfied. Not this time. For the price spent and the time i was in Nola, I’d have preferred elsewhere in location and hotel. Theres lots of options, sadly this isn’t one of them.

Close to attractions Very small room but very nice

Hotels in this area are very old. There are carpets inside the rooms, and they stink. Toilets in NOLA are very close to the ground, was similar in the hotel too. Overall the hotel was good. Parking is too expensive, $50 per night. Beds in the room were clean.

Great place to stay near the French Quarter. Just on the opposite side of Canal St. Very little noise from the street. Close to alot of restaurants, shopping. Hotel has a restaurant and bar downstairs called the Tackle Box. Quite convenient location. Highly recommend!

There was mold on the windows, stains on the bathroom floor and they gave away my executive suite and tried to put me in a regular toom hoping I wouldn't know what I paid for.

I booked on booking.com and the lady at the front desk claim she couldn't pull up my comfmation so I ended looking my money that I booked on booking.com and still had to pay 189.00 for another room
