I lost my phone and they found it The toilets were pissy smelling
-
- my tiny, dark, windowless room was infested with cockroaches and there was evidence of mice - there is no 24hr reception, so you're on your own if bugs/mice wake you up in the night - when I reported having squished a cockroach during the night, I was given a cleaning spray to clean it up myself - on my 3rd night, I was looking for another cockroach that had woken me up and I found a syringe and (I suspect) drugs under my bed - my room and the bathrooms had not been cleaned for a long time - food eaten and mouse droppings in my room - having to leave the hotel at 2.30pm and walk the streets to escape the dirt, syringe, drugs and cockroaches - hotel staff complaining that I had moved my bed after I reported the syringe - hotel staff laughing off issues when reported - hotel management refusing to refund my stay because I didn't report these issues straight away (I did). I eventually got 3 of 4 nights refunded - hotel management then refusing to refund my last night because I didn't stay - would you?! Avoid this hotel at all costs, you will regret staying here. I stayed in June 2026 during the World Cup. I booked this hotel because it was very cheap and would just be a place to crash. Please do not make the same mistake - you will get no sleep, it will be hazardous to your health. I cannot stress this enough: you will absolutely hate it.

*Bath tub blocked *Staff/cleaners woke us each morning talking loudly between themselves
-
Free flow of water, coffee and tea - nothing to complain about at this price point. Not convenient for wheelchair users of if you have trouble with stairs
-
More of a hostel but once we realised that 4 shared bathrooms were OK / fridge space good /tea and coffee +milk good /microwave useful/Staff friendly and helpful /cleaner doing her best with many residents

Amazing host..clean place Nothing

The man on reception was welcoming and helpful, that’s where the positives end. We couldn’t believe just how tiny and cramped the room was. A room for 2 people should at least have space to get changed and have luggage aside, this didn’t even have that. No window made it feel like a prison cell.

Good location and well-priced Some of the towels were a bit dirty
-
Value for money in southern manhattan. Communication could have been better because I came.in night hours...
-
Quiet. Dirty, no widows in my room, very small.
-
The bed was bouncy and I could feel the spring
-
Great Price, Great Location Small rooms but understandable because it’s NYC
-
they were kind, helpful, coffee water and towel if u need bit dirty outside but it’s nothing compared to were it’s located. it was a bit cold in the room tho

Nothing I do not consider it ethical to rent out a room for two people when it is absolutely impossible for two people to fit inside. The rooms are extremely small. The bed was very short, and I couldn't fit in it. The hotel has a serious cleanliness problem; although the bathrooms are shared, they are not cleaned adequately—and I even saw a mouse.
-
Location was great and snacks/coffee was provided free of charge. Bedroom was tiny and the bed was uncomfy (basically a piece of wood). There was also a mouse that got into our room one day.

Great staff.
-
staff was very nice and helpful no TV in the room, cold weather please don't turn the heat off, better beds very hard sheets and blankets.it was shared bathrooms didn't like that either,
-
It was cheap and a small double bed. I only needed it to close my eyes at night. I had no windows. But it was right in the centre of New York so can’t complain. It did its job. Close your eyes, sleep then out the front door.

Room was small but clean and halls and bathrooms were clean. The bathrooms weren't far from the room.Staffbwashelpful The room could have used hooks or something more yo hang things on
-
This was a very economical choice in a great Chinese neighborhood. The people at the desk were consistently helpful and the lack of a bathroom in the small room was not a problem as there were plenty of bathrooms Well the room was verrrry small but I didn't expect the Waldorf
