Was super scared about bed bugs but the rooms turned out to be super clean :)

Good

Great location and value for a very comfortable room.

Housekeeing came by maybe 1.5 times during my stay. The AC works. There was no handsoap in the dispenser. No lotion. No fancy conditioner. No iron. It's pretty low frills. There's also no desk in the room I got. No water bottles, that's in the vending machine. Lady at the front desk isn't particularly warm, but again, you are just paying for a place to stay where you feel safe enough to sleep. It's about 3 blocks to the nearest subway. It's in Chinatown, so it's near food and pretty convenient to things in Manhattan. I would stay here again if this was my cheapest option, I wouldn't come here for a romantic getaway. It's comfy. No bugs.

I love it here! They make everything so simple from check-in to check out and staff is there we need them. This is the perfect place to stay if you want something comfortable, easily accessible to everything while experiencing cultural diversity it’s truly the city that never sleeps!.

At check-in, the attendant tried to give us a room with one full-size bed, even though I paid for two twin beds. The room had cockroaches and was not clean. The floor looked like it hadn’t seen a vacuum in weeks. The TV was broken when we arrived. I reported it and was told it would be fixed, but I had to come back the next night to ask again. We also had no Wi-Fi for the entire stay. The room smelled stagnant when we arrived, and once we turned on the air conditioning, it smelled strongly of marijuana coming through the ventilation. Nothing says “welcome” quite like a contact high. The sign on the door said no guests, telephone conversations, or eating/drinking in the room, which left me wondering what exactly we were supposed to do in there, other than sleep. I was also told late checkout was $50, while the sign said $35. Apparently, even the prices were having an identity crisis. The biggest disappointment was the customer service. In March, the desk attendant was friendly and helpful. This time, I felt like I was inconveniencing the attendant simply by checking in and asking about the Wi-Fi and broken TV and informing about cockroaches crawlingin and around tub. I’m giving 2 stars because my previous stay this experience was a huge letdown. I came back expecting the same great experience no such luck!

The hotel is okay for the price. Room was clean and cool and the beds were comfortable. Shower worked, but the shower curtains broke off while using them and the lock on our door didn’t even work. If we were staying longer than a night we probably would have looked elsewhere

It was okay. There was no soap in our bathroom. But I only stayed for one night.

Bad

The receptionist didn’t even greet us when we came in. No how are you doing no hello. As soon as I got outside I seen 2 mice run across the floor in there game room. When we got to the room there was no tv and the room smelled like piss. Mice in property, room smelled like urine.

the place was worse than expect, thought it would be a good and clean room and it wasn’t, saw a rat in the hall and towels were smelling and old, don’t recommend

Small and humble with small rooms but renovated. No breakfast served but the lady at the reception helped us with a cattle to make a coffee at room, it could be a plus having a cattle and fridge in the room but would survive for a couple of days not longer. The location is not the best.

The blanket is dirty and has stains .

Property was fine, this was a last minute booking for my party so this was the option we had that wasn’t going to be overly expensive. Im from manhattan originally and would much prefer being a bit more uptown nothing wrong with china town, plenty of places to eat for a good price. Staff were nice, rooms were fair no complaint really. We only used the place to sleep. If you plan on just using the place to sleep this will be great. Our last two days there was no WiFi. Downside was not having a fridge in the room. Bathroom in our room was great it was as big as the sleeping area. Air conditioning works great! Overall it’s a fine place it’s nothing special if you’re young and want to visit the city on a budget this would be a good stopping ground. I would not roam in this area at night alone as a woman especially down Forsyth at night alone as a woman especially and if you’re not familiar with this city. My advisory to tourist. Check out Empanada Mama down Allen for late night drinks and food, go to super taste noodle around the corner and across the building, and Yunan Rice noodle as well, some quick and really good cheap food near by.

Staff was friendly even though we were late to check in time. Area seems a bit sketchy but it’s really not that bad!

Disappointing

Really clean and tidy. And a pretty quiet place. The area, the streets are not so clean but at the end it is Chinatown.

Great location with Manhattan bridge yards away and subways just a few minutes walk away. Nice clean and comfy rooms. Good value for money. Front reception staff sometimes had their head down during walking through, did not greet and say hello.

The facilities were very old and felt dirty; the hygiene was poor. There were no room keys during check-in, and no one was at the front desk when I checked out in the morning.
