Hotel Mimosa

Bed is comfy; water pressure is strong; multiple subway stations within 10min walk; prompt housekeeping. A little noise from the outside due to the hotel being just under the Manhattan bridge, but with the teli and fan on the noise is drowned out so it’s not a big problem. It usually is quiet already after 11pm. Suggestions: A full body mirror in the room would be nice and an option for additional chair in the room.

All the positive reviews are correct. Very small room with no closet or dresser. Only a cloths rack, also small. Your living out of your suitcase, fyi

Had a great stay in Chinatown with Hotel Mimosa. David at the front desk gave us a warm greeting and some fabulous restaurant recommendations. Room was comfortable and spacious for NY standards. All in all, would recommend and will definitely come back again.

Very good location in heart of Chinatown close to subway station. Clean and tidy. Reception staff gave useful recommendations. Room AC can be quite cold with no option to control temperature within the room. Gentle rumble of trains crossing nearby bridge is audible but doesn’t distract from sleep.

Great hotel close to a couple of subway trains. The room was kept st a comfortable temperature at all times. Staff was friendly. The room was soundproofed to where you could barely here the passing trains. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hotel! The staff were so friendly and kind. We felt so welcome and cared for. The hotel was quiet and clean, perfect for our stay. I can’t wait to stay here on our next trip!

Fantastic place to stay. Super clean, very friendly staff, safe area and easy to get around. I loved how thoughtful the layout and amenities in the room were. For a hotel at this price point you get a lot of value compared to more expensive options. Highly recommend!

The property was well kept. Unfortunately, it is located near a train track. The double paned windows reduced the sound to a bearable level. The hallway was ice cold. The air conditioning in the room was too cold. After I asked them to raise the temp it was better. There was no maid service. There are some areas near the hotel which are in real bad condition (graffiti and trash everywhere).

Super duper clean and great location! Must eat at the Golden Diner for breakfast just a few minutes walk from there!! Canal street to buy purses is a 6 min walk!

Great little find

Despite being in the shadow of the Manhattan bridge, the double-glazed windows did their work. Aside from a dull rumble, it wasn't noisy. Wonderful comfy bed and lovely shower with strong water pressure. Clean overall hotel. Location is a bit iffy, and for people not from there, which I am, it can be a bit daunting and isolated. Accommodating, helpful staff. The wifi was a bit iffy. Would love a water kettle in the room, and maybe a full length mirror.

The hotel itself was very clean and I really appreciated the fact that smoking is not allowed whatsoever on the premises. The only downside which is not the hotels fault but the area around it is pretty dirty. I wish Chinatown was more up-kept but it’s not the hotels fault.
