Can't think of anything. Everything was bad. It was practically a horror house.

Very good location near a lot of different bus stations and subway stations The door knob broke but we got a change room which was amazing

Dirty, loud, beds were not comfortable and you can get way better for the same price. I appreciate that it is an artistic hotel with some amazing decorations in the room but that should not mean that half the door is missing due to slanted floors and holes by the handle where anyone could look in. Safety lock was also broken. As a solo female traveler this was not a safe place to stay.

The art work, the staff, the cat everything x The steep stairs as you enter the property

Very unusual, funky hotel. Lots of art, friendly staff and a nice cat. Also great value for money and great location. Lugging our bags up the stairs!

9B Room - best experience ever

Location is convenient and easy to find with grocery shop across the street. Staff accommodating with regards to late check in and luggage storage. Ned the resident cat is cute. Not at all clean or comfortable and the landing smells of cat urine. The room had the cheapest metal frame beds with soft mattresses and stained pillow cases. The towels were also partially stained. The sink and bathroom were dilapidated with paint chippings. The floor was strangely uneven, like the middle of the room is sagging. The door lock didn't feel particularly secure and the luggage storage even less so. The main issue was the feeling of an unclean environment.

Cozy and inspiring.

The alarm on the main floor. To be honest, nothing was good about this place. The hotel, more like motel needs deep cleaning. We found hairs from razor all over the place especially the wood boxes stuck to the wall. The bed had no clean sheets and yellow stains. Also found mold stains on the sheets. The bathroom is shared for the whole floor, it smelled like piss, humid, and pee all over the shower and floor. The whole floor was humid and smell like pee.

Location and price It felt very much like a hostel, not a hotel. The rooms were clean and basic. The staff were okay but not overly friendly. The cat was more friendly.

This hotel is not for everyone as it's a very old building with very quirky rooms, however the guy who greeted us was super friendly, the room had an on suite toilet with shower, air con and the beds were comfortable. We were there for a night as we were passing through New York. Very noisy at night it feels like you are outside even with the window closed.

Easy check in - just gave my name a received a key. Appreciated the early check in too. The entire place is wonderfully decorated. Coffee in the morning common room was also good. Excellent location. The shared shower could have been a little more clean, but what can you expect? Bring shower shoes (ie flip flops).
