Nice spot for a quick stay! Bathrooms are located outside of rooms so this can be difficult. Noticed some holes, rips, and stains on the towels.

Prime location and a comfy bed. Extremely tiny, but it is Midtown so that’s to be expected.

Fantastic location, just a few blocks from several subway stops (C, E, 1, 2, and 3 lines). Friendly staff who waited after hours to let me check-in due to a delayed flight. Clean, well-appointed rooms, bathrooms, and shower facilities. All for a wildly reasonable price for lodging in Manhattan. I was unlucky to have a street-facing room on the second floor, so the traffic noise woke me up around 4 or 4:30 am most nights. The breakfast room/front office is quite small, which would be more manageable if temporarily stored luggage were able to be kept somewhere else.

Great location Only Stairs and no elevator Very hard to carry luggage specially for elders. Also very noisy during night hours.

I loved the location , cleanliness and how quiet our stay was. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Great value!

The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. The toilet rooms (closets) are tiny, but clean. The showers were excellent.

- bedding was comfortable - having the sink in the room was useful - toilets and bathrooms, even though shared, were clean and well-maintained - the staff (Maria in particular) were professional, polite and kind - the owner's behaviour. Not inappropriate, but a bit strange in terms of mannerism. Didn’t like some of the opinions he espoused. - the dining area is too small - there are two toilets on each floor and one of them is just ridiculously small

Pleasant room with good facilities. Staff were helpful. The HighLine is a couple of blocks away. Airport access good as close to Penn Station. Lack of elevatiir could be a problem for some. Evidently shared bathroom and toilet creates issues if other people leave them in an unsanitary state.

Our stay was short but very pleasant. Arrangements are similar to those in a hostel abroad. One thing we were not aware of before booking was the microwave is for vegetarian use only. We were not allowed to reheat our takeout. Staff suggested the 7-eleven next door, but per management microwave use is for food purchased onsite.
