Only thing its close the to city centre very small/tiny rooms, wifi signal poor, very noisy around and within the building may be some work was in progress at first or 2nd floor. No cleaning, dark rooms and very high charges for such a small size. charged me USD 402 whereas the facility was supposed to have £20 for bed. Matress and bed cart was also making noise.

It was in the prime location Everything staff, rooms, AC wasn’t working, they didn’t had a fan as substitute

It was clean and comfortable. Bed soft not stiff like most motels. Quaint met my needs No fault to the establishment but coming right in to a full toilet cause my neighbor didn't flush. The city noise and the trash build up outside by neighbors

We experienced several issues during our stay. The staff were often smoking at the front entrance, which did not create a welcoming atmosphere. There were also problems during check-in, and initially we were assigned the wrong room. The shared bathrooms were not cleaned adequately, and some shower drains were blocked. Fresh towels were not readily available, and we were told there would be a $10 charge for washing or replacing towels for seceral night stay. The property does not have an elevator, so guests should confirm their room location before arrival, especially if they have heavy luggage or mobility concerns. Another important point is that there is no individual air conditioning in the groud/first floor rooms. Air conditioning is centrally controlled in the ground-floor/common areas. Finally, one member of staff on the ground floor was extremely loud late into the evening. If your room is located near the reception area, noise may make it difficult to sleep. Overall, the location is the main advantage of this property, but improvements in cleanliness, customer service, and guest comfort are needed.

Wonderful location, very convenient to the subway. The staff was absolutely amazing, so attentive and friendly. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe here and had so much fun. I would recommend bringing a white noise machine if you are a light sleeper because it is very quiet at the property so I could hear some movement if I didn’t have my noise machine running. I was given a room on the fifth floor and that was really convenient because the kitchens are on the fourth and fifth floor so even though it was a trek up the stairs, it was great to have the convenience of the kitchen right next to me. The bathrooms were always really clean, super clean shower. I would absolutely recommend staying here and I will absolutely come back. I don’t think I have any real complaints because this is an old building so understandably wood floors are a little squeaky and hollow so it’s easy to hear people move about, and I know they have to be attentive about checking the rooms and cleaning up, but the doors to the rooms kind of slam, and sometimes it was a little bit loud in the morning, almost every morning, when housekeeping would be moving through the building. Maybe there’s a way to remedy that with adding some kind of weatherstripping to the doors to the rooms so they don’t shut so hard. Honestly, this is literally the only thing I could think of and it wasn’t really a big deal because using a White Noise machine pretty much masked the sound effectively.

Great location! Staff was friendly and super helpful.

Room was very clean with decent A/C. Kitchen was also clean. Bathrooms were a little sketchy, but I had my own disinfectant spray. Tried to shower, but drain was clogged. Towel bar broke as soon as my towel touched it. Someone showered despite the drain and flooded the entire bathroom for hours.

wall mirror placing in room 1D is so weird because it is by the feet of the bed where there is no space at all. I recommend moving it to the side wall where it could actually be more useful. Rug needs cleaning and pillows need to be fluffier.

Some other folks staying there were kind of loud but it was after the Knicks won a game. I did have some connectivity issues with the Wifi. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience.
