Honestly only the fact it was right next to MSG Pretty much everything people we not friendly and would t even give me an extra pillow as we only go two thin ass pillows for two of us bc “no more clean pillows”

Location! Amazing. Room size and set up was so wonderful and mattress and cleanliness were great. Charm and architectural interest and history were very attractive. Some kinks. Room lock always broke. Wish the team was a little more empathetic and welcoming. Walk up was challenging at first then I got into it—felt very NYC genuine. Bathrooms needed small repairs and could use some hooks to hand in shower and bathroom. Was pretty chilly with just a top sheet. Used my towels and my shawl to keep warm.

The staff is readily available! Both towels that were provided in my room were dirty. Requested another only for that one to also be dirty. Fourth time’s a charm I guess? The water in the bathroom smelled of sewage so I used bottled water (that I provided) to wash my face and brush my teeth. The blinds were broken in my room compromising privacy. Zero sound installation so you can a pin drop in the neighboring rooms. For $320+ for the night, I would have expected more…

Location was amazing since I was going to a concert at Madison Square Garden - only 5 minutes walk away! Also very close to various subway lines and the Empire State Building. There is someone on the desk 24 hours a day, which makes the accommodation feel extra safe, and it's reassuring to always have someone on hand. The bed was comfy, I was in Rm 1C and it was quiet - I had seen reviews that mentioned road noise but I didn't hear that from my room. Shared bathrooms were well maintained and clean and I didn't have any problems finding an empty one; usually the nearest one was free. Really nice and handy lounge/kitchen area, nice to meet some other visitors; a very friendly vibe. Everything was fine, it was a little pricey for what it was (compared to the UK) but I booked fairly late and price is probably driven a little by what is on at MSG/demand in the area. It was pretty cool to be able to walk home in 5 mins after leaving the concert!

What a cool funky place! I’ve stayed here twice now, since it’s convenient to the train station and easy to get around. And affordable! (for New York.) They have a lovely back patio where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner (from the Farmers Deli across the street). The staff is friendly and helpful. Pictures are of the “penthouse suite” (my nickname for it) a nice spacious suite with a microwave and fridge on the 5th floor.

I was staying there for 4 night and I hardly slept I requested blankets got realley them blanked requested duwet got a mattress topper I told the receptionist am in top floor I like to change but 2 people who came after me they give the bottom floor and the second floor to them am not happy I demand a full refund

This was a great affordable option. The location is perfect to get around the city. The staff were helpful and friendly. The shared bathrooms were clean and had hot showers. Only complaint is that you can everything in the halls and your neighbors. But it was quiet enough at night that I slept well. I would 100% stay here again when I come back to NYC.

The staff are exceptional and should be commended for their attention and friendliness. I had a bit of an emergency in the middle of the night; during and after the emergency they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and comfortable. The place was as clean as I expected. The beds were very comfortable. I also liked that they had a stove for cooking. The walls are very thin, which I didn't notice until the last two nights when some quite loud people checked in near me. They stopped being loud before too late, mostly, although I really didn't need to hear that one person's midnight telephone call in such detail. This is not the fault of the place itself, as I know you work with what you can in NYC, but just be warned that you could end up with loud people near you.

Pleasant

Only thing its close the to city centre very small/tiny rooms, wifi signal poor, very noisy around and within the building may be some work was in progress at first or 2nd floor. No cleaning, dark rooms and very high charges for such a small size. charged me USD 402 whereas the facility was supposed to have £20 for bed. Matress and bed cart was also making noise.

It was in the prime location Everything staff, rooms, AC wasn’t working, they didn’t had a fan as substitute

It was clean and comfortable. Bed soft not stiff like most motels. Quaint met my needs No fault to the establishment but coming right in to a full toilet cause my neighbor didn't flush. The city noise and the trash build up outside by neighbors
