Nice place to a good rest.

The location near Moynihan Hall and Penn Station was perfect. An easy walk. I like that my money went toward a mission to help the homeless. The hostel is generous about making vegetarian snacks available, not just at breakfast but all the time. Volunteer opportunities are plentiful. The bed was uncomfortable. The neighborhood was sketchy; I am glad we arrived during the day. A very quiet, not very social vibe. The main light switch in my room was out of reach—I’m 5’6”.

The open concept is difficult because you can hear every sound. I felt uncomfortable packing my stuff in the morning afraid I’d wake someone up. At night the area outside was a little sketchy.

safe, perfect location, superclean and 100% supportive staff bed is short for tall person

Location is excellent (for me, a minute walk from MSG). Staffs are welcoming, kind and helping. Water pressure from the showers were too weak. Vegetarian community and cannot bring any food derived from animals.

Location, treatment. N/A

The privacy of having your own room The location was close by to the big tourist location The bed was both uncomfy and too small (I'm 6ft) The ceiling was open so sounds travelled with ease which kept me awake most of the night The shower is weak and takes a long time to heat up

The location was lovely. The access to some food & amazing fresh baked with love scones was fantastic. Everyone very kind. More just a warning it is small sleeping quarters - I likely would not recommend if you're quite tall I'd imagine it wouldn't be comfortable.
-
Great location - just two blocks from Penn train station. Staff very nice. Kitchen and snacks available at all times. Room (actually, cubic) very very small.
-
Great location, friendly staff, a basic free breakfast or snacks always available. Rooms are *EXTREMELY* small, no space even to get dressed unless you stand on the bed. Also no windows.

Neighborhood is dangerous but I feel safe with interfaith. I even saw Stuff On New York Chasing away People Violent and disturbing The local businesses I stayed during the celebration frenzy for the Knicks.. My bicycle was stolen from the corner bicycle parking

For this money it’s the best option for short stay in NYC. Kind people, blessed atmosphere, good coffee, fruits, cookies etc. I was sleeping like a child.

The location, fruits, and toast are good. This is a vegetarian place. They made me throw my food and mentioned that chicken was cursed or something like this. It does not look like the photos. You can even hear people's farts next to you. It's not even a 2 by 2 space; it's more like a 190 by 120.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. It’s fine for what it costs, can’t knock it for anything. Definitely not accessible if you have mobility issues.

It was pretty Cool. Kitchen is available throughout the day. Overall nice and clean place to saty. The most important thing are the small but separate PODs which provide you complete privacy. Toilet area could be improved, in terms of space and number of toilets.
-
Good for a short stay 2-3 days The location is easy to access The restroom are always clean It wasn’t comfortable that it is mixed genders, even though I know the rooms are small they were even smaller than expected

Great and welcoming vibe. Quiet and safe.

Interfaith Retreats was a great option for my trip - I was arriving early and needed a one-night solo stay to fill the gap of our group's reservation. It was a super short walk from the train station and the staff were all very friendly. The rooms are private and small - about the size of 1.5 twin beds - but thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage space under the bed for luggage, an adjustable lamp with a USB charger, a plug, hooks for jackets or backpacks, and they provided earplugs and towels and had a fan available to use. The pillows were actually a bit better than standard hotel pillows, which was a pleasant surprise! Each room is open to the ceiling so noise definitely travels between rooms but on the whole other guests were quiet and courteous. The temperature control was also pretty good - it was a bit on the warm side but overall comfortable. The room locks, as does access to each floor, and the keys you're provided will buzz you into the building, open both floors, and open your own room, so security was well-thought out. The bathroom was a separate room and the stalls were narrow but functional. They had apples and bananas, bagels, breads and nut butters available for breakfast or to eat anytime, which was perfect for me. There wasn't any shampoo/conditioner in the shower I used and the shower was also not in a separate room from the rooms on my floor, so it felt like I'd probably wake up other guests if I showered (I got in pretty late). A lot of the apples were also pretty bruised up, but I couldn't say if that was because of guests or not.

The staff was nice, they cleaned the toilets/showers, i think, a few times a day. At least it seemed like that. The room is small but it totally works out!

The location is convenient. However,
