The shower didn't work. When I went to ask the staff to provide another room, they were too busy with other guests' complaints to help me. A working shower is essential. Also the desk staff had no idea what to do about anything.

Forever need fixing to bring luggage to reception. Only half of front door remain. Wind and rain blew in through a 5 feet by 7 feet opening. Not recommend people with big luggage.

Everything was great in general. For this price it’s a good place to stay. Also bath is nice and comfy People that work there are real friendly and helpful. I would suggest them to change the pillows. It’s super thin and it’s hard to sleep on it comfortably. Also if there is a bath- to offer plug for it, cause without it u can not fill it up.

Basically, you get what you pay for. It was manageable. Majority of the trip we were out the room anyways. It was a lot between the staff and customers because they had a lot of issues in their rooms and other problems. Thankfully we didn’t have any major issues. But the door was open when we first arrived and that was alarming.

Great spot for the price- very clean very quiet and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place to stay for a no frills low key trip

This was the most affordable option this weekend since the U.S. Open was happening. I was placed in a room that was at the same level as the lobby, so it was extremely loud. The bathroom needs some work because there is no toilet seat cover and the shower is at the same level as the floor so there will always be water on the ground. I felt like things weren’t as clean as they should’ve been since there were other people’s hair and the floors felt dirty. The location is very rough, but it’s next door to a McDonalds and across the way from a park with a graveyard. The subway entrance is a 10-15 minute walk, which was the only good thing about the location. It’s further away from businesses like food, coffee, and shopping. It’s not worth the price for the lack of safety, high amount of noise, dirtiness, and weird location.

I have a van and called to see if parking was available before booking. I was told there was a parking lot on site, so I booked. A complete lie. On arrival on Friday night front desk told me no, clients do street parking. I had paid so went looking. It is in an orthodox Jewish area and so every square inch of parking is not available from sunset Friday to Saturday. I had to search for blocks before finding a spot. A real aggravation for a 78 yr old woman on oxygen!!!
