Great place to stay!
-
small room size, feels like very conjusted inside the room.

Awesome breakfast and good staff support

I frequently stay at Hampton Inn. I’ll first say the staff were very polite and helpful. We had no issue there. The rooms are extremely small, which I guess is the norm in NYC. The carpets should be replaced. They’re pretty gross, but the beds were clean. We didn’t enjoy the food there at all and they had difficulties accommodating all of the guests. The nice gentleman working was trying hard to keep the food filled. I think he needs help. The gym, because the rooms are so small, have some medicine balls and I believe 1 treadmill and 1 elliptical. As far as location, it was pretty great. You could easily walk to many places or public transportation.

Just a heads up, the view out our 2nd floor window was a homeless man with old furniture piled right across the street. If that would bother you, maybe request a room on a higher floor. I would stay at this hotel again.

What an excellent location 31st at Penn station between 6th and 7th Ave. they have parking services across street, 80 bucks a day. They have a GOOD late check out of noon and LONG breakfast time from 6 to 10. Wish there was more room in breakfast area. They have Good coffee. Rooms were clean and they were cleaned every day, very friendly staff. EASY ACCESS TO SUBWAY, LIRR, NJ TRANSIT AND AMTRAK.

I LOVE TO give thanks to all of them because traveling from nola to NYCby train was a dream and they made us feel at home and welcome.

Great location. Big rooms for NYC. Staff was very friendly.
-
Small rooms. Need a refresh.

The staff was amazing, room was clean. Location was great. Too many homeless people in front of hotel and everywhere around it.
-
we enjoyed our stay here in the hotel! It is so convenient because it near the subway station and other landmarks that is a must go to in the city

You can not beat the location of Herald Square for NYC. The subway station is close, and even better, there is an extensive, full grocery story across the street (Jack's) as well as many Asian shops and restaurants around the corner. The street-side rooms are noisy, as expected, but that is part of the NYC experience. On our first night, we requested to be moved as our room did not have functional outlets in the bathroom and the fan did not work. The staff was prompt, helpful and apologetic. The only downside for us was no fridge or microwave. Breakfast was the typical Hilton breakfast. No frills, but options and a nice way to feel like you're saving money.

Nice overall. Staff and breakfast was great. Room looking a bit dated with pealing wallpaper. Only disappointment was the charger and outlet between beds did not work. But liked it enough I would stay again.
-
The property was old and outdated for the price. The breakfast was limited and gross. Our room was not even serviced the last day. I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.
-
Ok hotel in heart of NYC but it was super loud outside and the hotel was older but still maintained. Breakfast is not great but just so so. Would still recommend it for the price and. Location.
-
The room had broken curtains, broken USB plugs and the bathroom desperately needed renovation. The room was not good. It was also expensive.
-
Overall decent experience!
-
Rooms to small, besides that location was excellent. Everything else excellent.
