Harlem Grand

Lovely home away from home....

What a truly beautiful place, full of character and soul! Decorated with so much taste, one could feel how much care and love went into creating this little guesthouse. I just loved being in my room, surrounded by all the beautiful things. Staying in Harlem Grand was an experience in itself, adding to all the fantastic things New York has to offer. The location is great, I love Harlem but also access to downtown was super easy and quick as the guesthouse is 5min walk to an express metro line. And above all, it was such a pleasure to meet the owner of this place - what an interesting and lovely person, she made the stay so personal, I wish we had more time to talk. After meeting her, I can see why this place has a real soul. Thank you for creating it. Nothing, it's perfect!

A beautiful historical place in a lively neighbourhood but tucked away on a quiet side street.

The property felt like luxury, the rooms were massive l, the bed was comfortable and the host was incredible from start to finish. We had an amazing stay at Harlem Grand and we would definitely come back if we were ever in New York again. Overall the stay was great, but for our entire stay there was a beeping noise coming from the traffic lights just down the road which made it hard to sleep at night. We are aware this is not the hotels fault, but it did disrupt our sleep. On our first day out, we came back to our room and our door was unlocked, we knew we locked this before we came out and we were aware that the cleaner had come in as there were fresh towels when we came back. I immediately messaged our host explaining this, and when she questioned our time at the end of the stay I brought this up as it did make us feel like our belongings were not entirely safe.

I loved being in an older building. The furnishings were unique and comfortable. The standalone tub was sweet!

Very nice authentic apartments in beautiful Harlem house.Very good location- close to Subway line A- you can reach all New York highlights easely. Very nice and pleasant host provide you all information you need Reccomend! Soundproofing a bit poor bet it's normal in old and authentic house.

The room and host were amazing. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable, and the host was great with information and very approachable. It was easily located next to a subway to take you into downtown. I would definitely stay again if I am lucky enough to get to New York again The location is okay but the further you go into Harlem the sketchier it is. It was the only place that didn't feel fully safe especially at night

Nice location close to central Park, lovely landlord, very clean (I liked a lot the no shoes policy in the house), the kitchen in the hallways was very practical and nice for breakfast ( coming from EU in the US you often wake up very early and making your own coffee instead of going out at 5am was very pleasant) Nothing, this rarely happens but everything was perfect
