The property was amazing! The staff person Laron not sure if I have the name spelled properly. He was so caring kind and always smiling. My check in was smooth he always made sure I was okay and let me know of all the perks of the hotel. The other staff members was just as friendly and so sweet to me. I was very relaxed because of them I felt safe. My check out was just as smooth with Raul I think was his name with the glasses. Lol I am coming back! The staff there makes the stay so much more welcoming and warm! Thanks so much for having me! ❤️

Property manager and front desk were extremely kind and helpful!!!

The place was clean and nice, the back event area was very cute and comfortable. There was an event one night which guests could also attend. The desk staff offered ear plugs if the music was too loud, which was thoughtful. Check out is at noon which is great. I didn’t need bags held but believe they would have assisted. I was offered coffee and tea while waiting to leave. Would definitely recommend and would return. (Close to buslines, B46, B47, B38 and in between 2 train stations on the J and Z lines. Can also take the 47 to the C Train at Ralph Ave.)

What I really like the about the hotel is the area. Everything was walkable and the M and J was close by. I really also love how helpful the staff were! If you are young and without kids this is the hotel for you. They have bar downstairs in the lobby too. They have couple good eats near by. The area might be more urban to others. I’m from Philly it felt like I didn’t leave in a weird way. I love they were are nice and room is clean to sleep. Yes The L is right there but it didn’t bother me living near by the my station too

The room was small but clean, which is really all I ask of a NYC hotel at this point. Beds were more "informational" than "comfortable" — they inform you that you are, in fact, lying on a bed — but I was out sightseeing 12 hours a day, so I wasn't picky about lumbar support by the time I got back. A few quirks: thin walls (I heard neighbors' bathroom business more than I'd like), musty old-building hallways, and a downstairs bar that gets loud some nights. Also the toilet has no lid, which had me nervously guarding my phone every time I sat down. Leftover food has to be handed to the front desk for the employee fridge — you get an actual claim ticket for it, like you're checking a coat instead of storing a sandwich. My room wasn't cleaned on day one, but they promptly brought extra towels when I asked. Bottom line: not a spa retreat, but a clean, well-located, well-staffed base for a NYC trip. Would stay again.

    Love it there

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Not bad for one night! Very friendly and helpful staff. The downstairs transformed into a nightclub at night and was pretty noisy around 2am. Thermostat was easy to use. Convenient check out time at noon.

I had a good time. This is the second time I’ve stayed. This is more of a young adult or adult with no kids type of hotel, I think if a family stayed here they wouldn’t be too into it. The first time I stayed the club downstairs was open and it was loud. I had no issue with it but I’m sure some would. I got a free drink ticket and went myself! It was cute and the vibe was chill. Good music. This time the club wasn’t open and it was actually pretty quiet (as much as the city can be). The staff is super friendly and helpful. Will be staying more!

Always great time. Thank you to Zane, Andre, and the young man who actually check me in ( sorry, I forgot his name) and the lovely young lady that gave me a big ole’ bucket of ice. :)

It’s a great spot, however, would be better if there were a mini fridge in the rooms. Not entirely family friendly but great for adults.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

The stay overall was good and the staff at the front desk were very helpful and kind. It’s a pretty good area in my eyes, very close to the subway and bus stops, which makes it easy to get around the city.On the last night the AC stopped working which made the room very humid. Also the cleaning staff only stopped by to clean our room on the last full day of our stay…and didn’t do the greatest of jobs.

It was a balm for tired travelers. But you have to be the type of traveler who doesn’t mind a loud and sketchy neighborhood. Reviews were great but nothing about the area, which may not appeal to many.

Nothing to really say about this property and my stay.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. I say things could be monitored better. My 1st visit was much better a few yrs ago. I didn't like that I got a small handicapped room but it might be because of the room I selected. However, there was black long strands of hair all throughout the room and bathroom. Details in cleaning need more attention. The toilet paper seems like it was on ration (only gave 1 extra). The rolls only last but so long. The shower was a flat level floor that partially filled half the bathroom when showering but it was for more of a handicapped person. The bathroom door had to be forced past the toilet before it could close. The elevator can use a makeover as far as the floor and it smells. The carpeting in the halls can do for a change as well. The staff was very nice as well as the manager but some slight improvements can be made.

Not situated in the nicest area but near subway stop so walk wasn't too long. Hotel was nice. House keeping only every 2 days or so and bed only made up once while we were there (for 5 days). Water dispenser in the basement which was great. My daughter found the beds really comfy. Music was a bit loud in the bar on the Friday night, we were on the 4th floor and could hear it but it wasn't too disturbing. Staff were really friendly.

My room wasn't ready at 3. No steps were taken to remedy this. Staff was friendly but made no note on my Check-in to the manager, they just left the it up to me. The lack of amenities on top of this is why I would be able to recommend anyone to stay here for any reason other than the location, which was top notch.

Good stuff: The staff at the front desk were incredible. Bad stuff: There was a DJ/club situation happening in the bar downstairs until 3:30am. I’m a laid back person and normally music or noise doesn’t bother me too much. The bass from the DJ was vibrating my bed. I tried to call the front desk and no one answered. After a bit of digging, I found TONS of reviews on Google saying the same things. They’re buried between generic positive reviews which I think are fake. In addition to the noise, my first room smelled like cigarettes, and the second one smelled less like cigarettes, but still cigarettes. Two towels in my room had stains on them. I promise I’m not typically a Karen. I’ve traveled a lot and stayed in lots of different places. My only requirements are 1) mostly clean and 2) quiet enough for me to sleep. This was neither. I hope this can be a warning to others and that this review doesn’t get taken down.

Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. Manager is very accommodating, helped us with an early check in so we wouldn’t have to wait after a long journey.

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

The space is good, I would include in the rooms drawers or storage spaces to be able to unpack properly.

Excellent location 5 mins from the subway. Clean rooms good AC, and everything was good for my stay.
