The location was close to where i needed. The room was located in the basement part of the hotel. Where there was no window view. Except thru the curtain of a small ceiling window where u can see people walking above you on the side walk. The water smelled horrible, shower was extremely small so u have to shower sideways.. water was pooling up on the floor. Not enough towels were provided. The sink water had no water pressure and the Air conditioner was broken. This was definitely not worth $400 a night .. I DO NOT recommend!!!!

The rooms are as to be expected. NYC prices are high. This place is cheap and cheerful for the city. It has a great SubWay connection and not too far from the more exciting places. Though it is a bit set back it does have some nice cafes / delis / bars around this warehouse district. The glade air freshener could be turned down a little in public areas and the general condition of some of the furnishings look like they might be due an upgrade soon. But it's perfectly acceptable.

About the only thing I appreciated was it's distance from the subway. The first night we checked in, we did not have linens for the pull-out bed, our key only worked one time so we had to get that taken care of. Not bad but the second night, we arrived back in the early evening to find our thermostat was locked on heat and none of the staff on site could unlock it. So no AC for one night which I was assured I would get some compensation for. That was Labor Day weekend, I have received no compensation. I have tried reaching out to both the hotel and Booking.com but it has yet to be resolved. Also, the keys continued to work only once so that was inconvenient. The little problems are not why I am writing this, the AC not working for a night and the lack of customer service concerning this is why I am writing this review. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

I liked it was close to the subway. The room's safe was not working and the shower had some noises while was turned on.

The room was filthy, the bathroom was filthy, the couches was filthy, the bed had hair all over it, and the door did not lock

Cons: Elevator from ground floor did not work so had to carry suitcases up the stairs to the checkin/lobby on 2nd floor. (this could be an issue if you have heavy luggage or can't walk up stairs). The surrounding area is industrial. View from our balcony was of a warehouse storage area with lots of metal scaffolding equipment. We heard lots of planes flying over the hotel.

This hotel is nice, however I feel it is a little pricey. This is because I typically don’t pay this much to stay in a hotel. The rooftop bar was nice and refreshing. I didn’t try any drinks but it was nice to be able to sit outside and relax. The room was tight and I feel the bathroom could use more towel racks. Other than that it was the most affordable hotel in the area and not a far walk from the Morgan L line train station and bus line.

The room and bathroom were very clean. Rooms are very small and amenities are minimal. The balcony rooms overlook a commercial storage yard. Lobby elevator was dirty and floor pealing. Barely three stars on my book.

I went to this hotel and immediately left. When I went to the room, there was still trash and weird things on the balcony from the Person before. It smells like roach killer, and cigarettes. Not only that, but the bathroom is entirely full of mold. When I went to the desk to show them the pictures they took them and then gave me a new room, hoping it would be better, but it was actually worse. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews. There’s no way that this is true at all. Also, I just wanna know that I’ve been trying to get a refund because I didn’t end up staying there and they’ve ghosted me and Expedia. Truly disgusting please do not stay here. I’m begging you.

Awesome place and location!

The location was perfect for our needs, close to the subway and close to restaurants and coffee shops. We had an issue with a clogged shower drain in our first room and they changed us to a similar room with no hassle. The room was clean if a little bit worn. We felt safe walking around in the evening. We parked our car on the street and it was fine. For the room price, I expected everything to be on point. The confirmation email I received stated "Breakfast is included in the final price" which was actually a keurig machine in the lobby. We had to drive this trip and parking was a hassle. The parking lot that the hotel provided a link to did not have a working website. I would have liked hand towels in addition to bath and washcloth. Our initial room was also missing a bath mat. There are no hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom and the bedside lamps were useless for reading. Our initial room had 4 very hard pillows that we had trouble sleeping on. Fortunately, the second room was set up correctly with a set of hard and soft pillows. The bathroom door consists of a floor to ceiling frosted glass panel which was very heavy and awkward. There was a noisy family a few doors away that woke us up at night.

I was already in the shower unclothed when I realized there were NO TOWELS in the room. And there was no way to connect to the front desk so I had to forego my shower. The staff member did NOT seem very upset when I told her about not having towels, as I was checking out. The elevator mats were dirty and there was someone else’s toothpaste residue in the sink. Nora good experience at all.
