Hotel Indigo Williamsburg - Brooklyn by IHG

The breakfast was good. The room was light and, after I requested a move, was well positioned. Once I communicated my concerns to staff they were happy to assist. There were delays with check-in. The location is a bit challenging - near a busy freeway. I was late for an important appointment because my Uber was stuck for 15 minutes in the hotel pick-up/drop-off car park, which was jammed and unsupervised.

Good location Terribly creaky bed frame and a worn out lumpy mattress

Without any warning or prior notice, the property cancelled my reservation and sent an attachment through the messaging system. This demonstrates that the messaging system was working properly; the hotel simply chose not to send a warning. The hotel was overbooked and had no availability, so I had to find another hotel. Because it was the day of arrival, I had to pay almost twice my budgeted amount. I received no assistance, apology, or accountability.

My air conditioning made a strange rattling sound the first night. I asked for it to be fixed or the room changed and it was fixed for the second night. However, on the third night it went again, again it was fixed and then on the fifth night it went again. On top of that on the morning I was checking out my fire alarm went off for no reason.

Great location, very helpful staff, beautiful rooms, quite busy but also a very elgant vibe!

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only thing that was a shame is guests also had to pay for loungers which I believe is quite common however disappointing when paying a premium for a hotel with a pool.

The location of this property was perfect for our needs. The room was quiet, clean and bright and, the beds were comfortable. We could have used an extra layer of blankets and they probably would have brought us some if we had called. Most of staff, especially at the bar, were helpful and kind. I ordered a bagel one morning and it tasted like freezer burn and they had run out of jam. Also, the back entrance on Keap Street is very narrow. Use great caution when exiting in your vehicle.

Central and easy access to many areas in Brooklyn. Definitely a must stay

The staff were nice and it was clean Most of the gym equipmenet didn't work. There was hardly any gym equipment. Pool hours were limited to teenage kids which ruined our holiday.

Location was excellent Rooms were minimalist especially for what your paying 450 plus a night

Exceptional

The hotel had modern design, furnishings & art. But the toilet paper holder in my bathroom fell out of the wall. Spotty e-key operation in elevators. rug near bed slid & needs slip-resistance backing. No hooks in the bathroom to hang items. No instructions on how to use the phone; phone service was out for 2 days. Limited tv channels. Close look at rooms & furniture showed lack of maintenance: holes/tears in leather chairs; rust in bathroom showed results of leaks & lack of proper repair.

The room was lovely and clean. Staff was pleasant. The lobby area is a bit worn looking. I wish the lobby bar was open later or there was a better snack/food/beverage area.

The room was spacious and the balcony was a luxury in NYC Everything one wants to do is around Bedford St that is a good 15 min walk or a subway ride to the next station. Grocery store is across. We were here during the US open and the whole of Manhattan seemed to be sold out with exorbitant prices. This was a good find amongst that. The parks are walkable 20 mins away. The hotel though connected by subway right outside is still not in an exciting location. No views from the room with Balcony. Not the most exciting part of Brooklyn.
