very clean, lots of amenities, bar service a little slow

We did have an issue checking in because our room was not ready at 3:00pm and so we had to change clothes in their back room to be able to make our 5:00pm reservation

A cool place to stay in Williamsburg. Catering to a younger crowd. Tiny rooms with no storage. Super helpful and friendly staff. Nice bar area. Unfortunately, there was no access to the views from the top floor, which was booked for a private event.

Staff was outstanding - Luis at front desk was as good as any hotel staff I've encountered.

This hotel is 10 min walk from my daughter’s apartment so very convenient. Very clean and friendly staff. Great bar/restaurant. Wish there was a little more closet and counter space in sink area but it is doable for a short trip!

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at the Moxy Williamsburg Brooklyn and what I believe was a clear case of misleading advertising and a bait-and-switch regarding access to the hotel's rooftop for the Fourth of July fireworks. When I booked my reservation through Marriott, it was my understanding that rooftop access was included as part of the amenities associated with staying at the hotel. This expectation was a significant factor in my decision to book this property and pay the associated room rate and fees for the holiday weekend. However, upon arriving at the hotel on July 4, I was informed for the first time that hotel guests would be required to pay an additional $200 per person to access the rooftop for the fireworks celebration. At no point during the booking process was this substantial additional charge clearly disclosed. Had this information been made available before booking, I would have reconsidered my decision or selected another Marriott property that accurately represented its amenities. Unfortunately, this was not the only issue that negatively impacted my stay. During an extreme heatwave, the hotel experienced a power outage, which significantly affected guest comfort and services. In addition, the air conditioning in the hotel was either not functioning properly or was inadequate during this period of excessive heat. These conditions made the stay uncomfortable and, given the weather, raised

Great location, friendly staff!

Perfect place to stay in Brooklyn, the views were insane, the area amazing, the hosts nice and welcoming, can’t wait to be there again! Thanks!

When we entered our room, the thermostat read 84°F. We immediately called the front desk and were told maintenance would come. After waiting 20 minutes with no response, I went downstairs. The front desk employee, Marcus C., was rude, interrupting me mid-sentence to ask for my room number instead of addressing the issue. He said he would call maintenance again. After another 20 minutes with no one arriving, I went downstairs a second time. Maintenance technician Pedro was there and apologized, explaining the work order had never been submitted. He replaced the AC filters, which helped, but the room never cooled properly. It was about 80°F when he arrived and still 76°F the next morning. The hotel offered to move us to a bunk-bed room, but that wasn't suitable for our family. Pedro was professional and did his best, but the overall experience was disappointing due to the failed maintenance request and Marcus C.'s poor customer service. We expected much better.

Loved this place! Great location.

Great hotel. Good fun vibes, made for young couples. Not very family oriented but all in all was a good stay.
-
Bar service very slow top roof closed for party
-
Nice hotel and great location! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be the gym was hot and small.

The location was terrific as were the staff members and the conditions of the property itself. The only downside was noise from the rooftop party. We were on the 8th floor over the weekend. If one is a light sleeper, one should get a room on a lower floor and that might help.
-
Great location We could hear the rooftop nightclub from our room. Kept us awake until 4:00 am. The room was expensive and tiny and didn’t have a real bathroom.

Close to night clubs and bars .
