Hotel Riu Plaza New York Times Square

The motel was very clean and comfortable. The motel had a nice restaurant and bar. We will definitely stay there again

This was a very nice hotel. The included breakfast was amazing! Fresh, delicious. The staff was great. My only complaint was noise. You could hear everything in the hallways. Doors closing people talking. Otherwise I would've given five stars. Very good location you can walk to everything

We were SUPER impressed with the hotel cleanliness and the staff was very, very friendly and helpful. This hotel offers express checkout. There was no need today to line up and speak to anyone to check out. We just dropped our key in the designated box and left at checkout time. Super convenient. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a large assortment of choices. To use the elevator it required a room key which was a nice security feature. The only complaint we had was the size of the actual room. Our room had a queen bed. There was room to walk around the bed but not much more. But for the price? This hotel was well worth the stay.

Breakfast was basic but nice to have for quick meal

We stayed as a family of five for three nights. Great location, very near to Times Square. The breakfast had loads of choice. We stayed five in a room which was manageable, but a bit of a squeeze with a glass wall for the bathroom separating it from the sleeping area which wasn’t ideal! Great views as we stayed on 21st floor. We also asked the hotel bellboy to arrange a private taxi to the airport at 4.45am.

Our stay was very comfortable. What made our stay at the Riu a great place was how every single employee there was extremely helpful & welcoming. I definitely would stay there again.

My room was kept clean, bedding changed daily, towels were replenished and I didn't even have to ask. This place is a Winner!!

Breakfast was amazing and plentiful but it did get busy so get there as early as possible. Short walk to Train station and very close to tube. Just beware of yellow cabs from airport. We knew it was a standard price into the city and that you could pay by card. Our driver asked for cash which we genuinely didn’t have a great deal of. He kept pestering us saying he wouldn’t get paid for two weeks. He said we were rich and could afford it. When I finally said no sternly he started driving erratically dodging in and out of traffic at speed muttering in a foreign language under his breath. Do not be intimidated by this. Just say no. I must say that was the only negative experience we had.

Hotel location was great. He were there for a nearby show and Times Square.

Nice hotel

Close to Times Square, the breakfast was delicious, very clean hotel.

It wasn't worth the almost $800. My expectations weren't met. I was informed at check in that I would receive a text notification when my room was ready. I never received a notification. When I approached the front desk to inquire, my room still wasn't ready and my family and I had to wait for our room to be cleaned by housekeeping. I wasn't impressed with the room and the check in was a hassle. After flying across the country with a family and two children, we just wanted to get in our room.

Our stay at the Rui was excellent. It was so clean, well maintained and the staff were so friendly. The breakfast was excellent as well. I would definately recommend staying there, because the location was perfect.

Everything bwas good

Room was affordable with a great view. The room was clean and services came at a decent hour to tidy the room up. The staff were very helpful with any questions I had. Breakfast had a vast selection and seating was available. Table service was prompt. The location was secure as well. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

the tv didnt work, we ask for help and they send a guy with a new remote and that didnt fix de problem
