I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, this was my first time to New York and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Such a beautiful space with great patios and cozy eatery’s. I would definitely come back!

We loved our stay here. The staff was great. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Great offerings. Our only complaint was that the room was incredibly humid. Lowering the temperature wasn’t enough to counteract it. The overall stay was great but the high humidity made it very uncomfortable to sleep.

We absolutely loved our stay at Civilian Hotel! From the beautiful design and incredible atmosphere, everything was perfect. The location is amazing, the room was comfortable and stylish,(with incredible view) and the whole hotel has such a unique New York vibe. We stayed for several nights and honestly didn’t want to leave! It was the perfect place to enjoy NYC, and we would happily come back on our next trip. Highly recommended! ❤️ Nothing

Good location. Clean. The room is small but cozy and convenient for solo travelers. Enjoyed complimentary breakfast. Staff was helpful. Nice rooftop bar and cafe. Only downside was when I was there, they had private events so guests couldn't go in there. Limited places to sit in the lobby area which is a bit inconvenient if you are waiting to check in/room getting ready and checking out and waiting for the train time.

Great location. All staff were polite and courteous. We extended our stay - and both rooms were cozy but the all storage options made it work well for us.

I absolutely enjoyed the whole vibe and energy, The rooms sizes are perfect for solo travelers or couples. The beds were comfortable. I had everything I needed and the price was extremely reasonable given the location. I will stay there again!
