CIVILIAN Hotel

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff was incredibly helpful with parking and navigating the area, and the room was amazing. I loved the view, the blinds, the beds, and the bathroom. The rooftop bar was fantastic, and the location truly can’t be beat, just a few blocks from Times Square and Hell’s Kitchen. This will absolutely be my go-to spot whenever I’m in Manhattan.

I stayed on the 24th floor but wasn’t able to enjoy the view because my room seemed to not cool off to my liking. As a result I kept the blackout shades lowered and the lights off. Wasn’t able to determine if it was due to the heatwave or the actual air conditioning.

Time , they aren’t polite at all , I understand isn’t an upscale hotel or the Plaza … but at least expect respect on the arrival , and a cleaner room with no broken towels , even that I got a room With a view , the curtains didn’t work. At night there’s no service , just 2 angry security people . Definetely need an update .

Location is great but the stay experience was absolutely poor.

Two things,the guests were cramped in the elevator to accommodate staff members because there was no service elevator for staff and their carts etc. Hotel room was very small and had no cabinets or storage for my luggage ( at least not in my room). Loved how housekeeping made my bed everyday . I frequently visit NYC and by far this hotel had the smallest room. Close to broadway which is the top reason I keep visiting NYC. Love NYC always

Amazing location, our room was in the 21st floor and had a breathtaking view on NYC. Very clean and comfortable room. Room size might matters to some travellers, make sure to get an upgrade if it does

The room was beautiful. It was small but it wasn’t an issue for me because I was mostly out in the city anyway. The bed was comfortable. I like the location too, it was close to the subway to and from the airport so we didn’t have to walk too far to carry our luggages. Overall I liked staying here. It was a good choice.

Tons of character and great location. Check-in was DIY, a first for me. Would definitely stay again.

The Civilian Hotel was a great surprise! Not the usual tiny NYC room, especially in this neighborhood. My room was elegant and quiet, and I really appreciated the architecture of the building. It's a lovely place. I'm going to make it my regular place for my frequent trips to NYC.

Stayed in cozy queen room that was small but nicely appointed with a good bathroom. The front desk on request moved us to an upper floor with excellent direct morning sunlight that made all the difference. Thank you!

Cheap hotel in bad district I will never come back and will not recommend it for sure And the breakfast was so bad too Seriously for the price Hello
