The room was immaculate! The hotel itself is cute and in an amazing location. I’d stay here again!

Loved the room and the Starchild Rooftop bar. Didn't partake of the jazz. Breakfast was decent but they had trouble keeping up and could have used more staff. For the cost of the room breakfast should have been included for each night we stayed, rather than just once. A beautiful hotel and located very conveniently for everything we wished to do.

You can't beat this location! It's literally steps away from everything. Everyone on staff here from maintenance, to housekeeping, to the people that works in the bars and restaurants were super nice to me. Housekeeping honored my do not disturb sign, which is a dial on your door. And everything is available if you just make a request. The restaurants!! There's Carvesteak on the first floor, the cocktail lounge on the 2nd floor (which also doubles as the breakfast room and the afternoon lounge where they usually have coffee, tea, and water) and the rooftop lounge where you can get drinks and small bites. The cocktail lounge has live music on the weekends (they add a surcharge on your bill), and the rooftop lounge had a DJ. Nothing too crazy, more vibe/chill music. Everyone was nice, I got good quality sleep (the only noise you hear if there's people talking in the hallway). I was so sad to leave my little home for a week. I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to stay here again!!

The rooms are small, but you get what you pay for. However you’re not coming to NYC to hangout in your room. Great central location, the rooftop bar/deck is awesome! Decor is cool, the rooms are nice and clean with updated features. I’d stay again.

We stayed in the "cozy" room which was nice and functional and we enjoyed the 2nd floor breakfast/live jazz bar. The staff was very nice. What we didn't enjoy was the unpleasant surprise of being charged an unexpected "Guest Experience Fee" of $45.90 per night at checkout above the price I paid for three nights stay on Expedia.

My stay here was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond with their kindness, and while the room had that charming, compact boutique feel, the bed was remarkably comfortable and the bathroom was just the right size.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. Definitely a old-school theater feel with a hipster vibe. The rooms are modern, but also very comfortable. The lighting is a bit dim, but you can make it work. I did have an issue with the air-conditioning in my room and the front desk staff came upstairs to help me pack and move me to a different room. It was absolutely amazing service. I would warn that if you want to do the rooftop on a Friday or Saturday night, make reservations. The walkability of the area is fantastic. Literally two blocks off Times Square and walking distance to Central Park, with tons of eating options in the neighborhood. We didn't get a chance to eat in the beautiful steakhouse, but breakfast upstairs was fantastic. It's more of a European style breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel and I'll definitely be making this my NYC base from now on. I also want to add that it's extremely want to add it is an extremely affordable option for New York City.

Took my niece here for her 21st bday trip and we loved the hotel. Great rooftop, wonderful staff and easy location to get anywhere in the city. Close to all Broadway shows and Time Square but removed enough to not be in the chaos. We walked to Rockerfeller Centre, Central Park and so many other locations. We really loved the shower and beds. We stayed in the twin bed room and wondered how we'd feel sleeping in a twin bed and now we only want to sleep in twin beds, it was so comfy. Great staff, great steak house - highly recommend.

I absolutely adored this hotel. We had a beautiful time and ended up extending for a day. The only thing I have negative to say was the breakfast wasn’t worth the 98$ in my opinion. It wasn’t a hot breakfast, just some pastries and hard boiled eggs, cereal and toast, but in every other way this hotel was absolutely wonderful and I will be back.
