Kimpton Theta New York - Times Square by IHG

Location m, decor, staff Ice machine was broken on our floor for the entire stay. We didn’t have an umbrella in our room and when we asked for one there was only one available for purchase. The bathroom was tiny!!

Check in staff very accommodating! Room cleaned each day awesome staff.

Location was good. But miss communication when my cousin arrived before me. I added her name to the reservation, the front staff was not helpful. I called a day before arrival to ensure she wouldn't have any issues. No one apologized for the error of not scrolling down and seeing her name was on the reservation. Front staff was not helpful at check in.

Favorite hotel in NYC!!! Just not always affordable.

Kimpton Theta worked out so well for us. The room was excellent and quieter than I expected given the 24/7 nature of NYC. We were able to walk or hop on a close subway stop to get to everything we wanted to see! The staff was very helpful and even gave us a late checkout which we very much appreciated!

The staff were super friendly. Chris was great with the kids. They enjoyed his trick questions. The decor was on point. The breakfast was decent better than most hotel breakfasts. Free wine between 5 & 6 was a welcome bonus.

Excellent location, really enjoyed the rooftop bar. While I do enjoy having a coffee maker in the room, I tea appreciated the free coffee in the lobby. I would definitely consider coming back

Convenient, walking distance to restaurants and theatres… and the times square… great location.

Nice room. Quite spacious for NYC Even on the 11th floor noise from street was very loud. If booking again would ask for a room on the side away from the street. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice.

Great property with easy access to all sites but the stair climb to the rooftop breakfast and dinner area was quite treacherous for anyone mildly disabled.

The location - a 5 minutes walk to Times Square and Broadway. Unfriendly staff. Poor breakfast. Tiny gym.

The property is well located and the room was clean enough but not spotless. The room was a good size and there was a steamer in the room which was really helpful. For a mid-range property like this I was disappointed that there wasn’t a doorman to help open the extremely heavy doors into the lobby. There was a ‘press to open’ button which is inconveniently and awkwardly located. Staff were completely monotone and unhelpful, racing through instructions so fast that I didn’t understand any of them. I was also told on check in (a few hours before the official time) that my room was ready but that I’d have to pay quite a sizeable early check in fee (despite also being an IHG platinum member) so I declined but found that also quite disappointing.
