The Time New York, part of JdV by Hyatt

Parking validation and close to time square. Pillows stink. Vent in the bathroom didn't work so fire alarm went off ( VERY ANNOYING). Lamp in the room didn't work and no plug near 1 of the bed for charging my phone.

Nice place friendly staff

In between Hells Kitchen and midtown (Times Square) - location was great. The bed was super comfortable and a/c was working well. Only downside was the shower and toilet, both were small but manageable… if you’re not taller than 5’9. Would stay again.

Good location and new hotel

Friendly reception. The rooms are old. I had room 306 it had many defects. The hanging globe lamp did not work. The bedside reading light only worked on one side, the desk chair legs were wobbly/broken, the headboard faux leather was ripped. The TV is in a mirror which is cool but it is a very old TV. Every wall and doorway is scuffed and scraped, as is all the furniture. It is clean, friendly, but very dated. It was probably really cool once.

The location is perfect. We walked to everything. I was a little worried when we walked in. You enter a small lobby area that is painted VERY dark which leads to a small hallway which is also painted very dark. No one greeted us the first time so we didn't know where to go. When we backtracked the doorman directed us to the elevator which took us to the second floor to check in. The rest of the hotel is very different. Very clean and feels elegant (the entrance area was very off-putting). The rooms were beautiful and clean. The TV's are IN the mirror at the foot of the bed. Odd but it works. The halls were very quiet and even though we were right in the middle of a very busy area we were never bothered by outside sounds. After our initial arrival the doormen were all very attentive, friendly and helpful. I would 100% stay here again. The entrance is very dark. I was afraid the whole hotel would be a bit sketchy, but it was amazing!!

Exceptional

Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was quick.The best location EVER. Beds so comfortable.Lacked amenities and who has time to work out in NYC if out sight seeing and walking all day. Great value for the location and would stay again.

Brilliant hotel in a great location in times square. Room was amazing, comfy bed with a great shower and lots of space. They made a special fuss of my daughter for her birthday which was very thoughtful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will visit again. Thank you

Everything is that way I expected

Everything was perfectly good

The room was a little dusty. The bed was super comfy. The location is the best (and they had complimentary wine and cheeses everyday!).

Excellent

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent to hop on the subway to any destination in Manhattan. The suite option was exceptional for the roominess, layout, and quiet space. There was some food crumbs on the sofa bed and the bathroom sink did not drain well. Morning elevator can take some time to arrive. Overall, this would still be my top choice of place to stay the next time we are in NYC.
