citizenM New York Times Square

Room was clean and spacious even though this hotel is known for having smaller rooms. I found it pretty well sized for a single traveler. The staff was kind and very helpful. I know some people have an issue with the hotel room keys being needed to take you to your room but considering how many people are in the area all the time (it's times square duh!) I think it adds a layer of security and I felt very comfortable knowing people without a key couldn't make it to anyone's floor.

The room was clean and quiet. Very close to activities, public transportation, and Time Square. The bed was super comfy and linens were very nice. The staff were friendly and professional. I really have no complaints. Everything met expectations.

Location and use of IT Alarm went off one evening and no explanation of what happened and why

I really liked my room, I had a decent view. I love how you have an iPad to control the room and can change the colors of the lights. This hotel was great for solo travel. The room is small enough to there you don’t feel paranoid of anything weird happening. The room being smaller allowed me to feel more in control of my environment as a solo traveler. The subway is close and the hotel is not directly in the middle of Times Square so if you aren’t interested in Times Square you don’t even have to bother with it. It is walking distance from 5th Ave, Central Park etc which was really nice. My room was clean and the AC worked great. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

First time at this hotel, nicely styled, friendly helpful staff, great food and drinks available on site and great location. The room was cute, small but had all we needed. Loved the iPad to control lights and set our alarm. Mini fridge was great to hold leftovers .

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Everything was well organized, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. considering the cost, I expected a bit more space and value for money.

I loved this hotel overall! first time staying at citizenM and we will definitely be back. the check-in/check-out process was the best i’ve seen in the business. Every staff member was very helpful and friendly. This place has the best atmosphere!! Between the lobby, rooms, and rooftop bar, it was a nice relaxing vibe. The only critique i had was the mood lighting in the room. I was very excited after booking the room knowing that the room was equipped with mood lighting. Upon arrival that function in the room was not working. The front desk staff was helpful and tried troubleshooting the issue with me. Unfortunately, it was not resolved, but that did not ruin the experience. My boyfriend and I still had a great stay and will be back to stay again in the future. If you haven’t stayed here, you should check it out!

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. Loved the tech savvy tablet in the room. Breakfast was great but maybe could be included or lower price.
