JGSTAY - Times Square

The room was fine, but small. The space was sufficient for a short stay, I would not recommend for longer than 2 day. The bathroom was open concept, when showering the water will get everywhere making a mess, the door was a thin sliding door that did not fit and would continue to open. The rest was ok, the location was convenient.

The hotel was in the best location for the theater district. The room was clean, but extremely tight/small. There is NO elevator. It was fine for a one night stay.

Good location and price was right! We were out all day during our stay, so the small room size was not an issue, it was all the space we needed. The decor is fun, unique, and perfect in the theater district! Would recommend for a short stay where all you need is a clean & quiet place to sleep & shower.

The air conditioning was extremely loud, the room was very small, and it was not clean. There was also no affiliated parking lot, and getting to the hotel was extremely difficult because of the traffic. I booked three nights, but when I arrived, I immediately wanted to cancel because of the conditions. Unfortunately, the hotel would not refund even one night. I ended up staying for only one night and leaving. The staff was also very unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not stay here again.

Very good

Excellent location! 5 minutes from time square, 15 minute walk from Central Park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My room was ready and they let me check in 2 hours early which is huge in NYC!

Very great for sleeping, has nice rooms and comfy bed. Everything was great, location was great and felt very safe. Everyone was helpful for the most part. Room got humid so some bugs were in the room, asked to change rooms or a refund and was told “the bugs were not a big deal” and that they were full so we could not change rooms. Manager was called and somehow a room opened up and we were moved. No problems after. No elevator, but they’ll offer to carry your bags up. Not bad if you’re able. Overall great stay and awesome for just having a place to sleep

There's no elevator , I'm unable to safely walk up the stairs especially to the 5th floor. The floor rug smells bad

Over all it was fine a good location and if I had to I would definitely stay again. The bathroom was condensed into one. Taking a shower on top of the toilet and sink wasn't the best. Also a walk up wasn't the greatest. The hotel experience is supposed to be relaxing and not tasking especially trying to get to your room.

If you’re a solo traveler looking for the “bare necessities” in a hotel room at a very reasonable rate, you can’t beat this property. The room and bathroom is small, but it was perfect size for a single traveler. There is no elevator, so you may want to look elsewhere if you can’t ascend the stairs, but regardless, this was a perfect stay for the price I paid!

Spacious bed for two travellers and a washroom as well as conveniently located in Times Square

The hotel is in a very convenient location. One block away from the center of Times Square/broadway. Very small room, but it’s so clean and comfy and has a mini fridge! Bathroom was pristine. No elevator! We were on the 5th floor, but that was ok. There’s a lounge on the basement level with microwave and coffee table. Very picturesque in the lounge. Highly recommend 🗽

Wasn’t up to my expectations for the price. One of the pillows either had a yellow stain or was makeup. A couple fruit flies flying around. I was in a 5th floor walk up….thats right no elevator, when leaving I had to stay back while an elderly couple had trouble getting down the stairs. The room was okay but the furniture seemed cheap, the mattress and pillows were comfortable. The hallways seemed like they needed updating, the carpet old/cheap and a black garbage bag covering what I believe was part of the AC unit. I probably wouldn't stay here again but if saving $50-100 dollars compared to another hotel and you are just spending the night for sleep then it’s okay.

Superb

We walk-in our room and once we turned the lights on two roaches went running. That was extremely disappointing. I went to the front desk and he seemed to be confused on what room we were checked into but he literally just walked us up. There was a bug trap under the bed. He stated he’d get someone to spray it but no room switch nothing. We laid in our room with the light on all night and our luggage put up high. For $250. That’s a lot to not feel as if you’re in a clean space for a few hours. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
