Hudson Yards Hotel

we went, paid extra for early check in and the room and toilet were dirty. afterwards, the ac started to leak onto our luggage. it was a mess. then the mini fridge started leaking all over the floor. They then said they would refund us one night's stay and never did. I come to newyork all the time for work and would never stay here again.

The location. There weren’t even any cups or glasses in the room to drink from. They took $100 deposit for incidentals, but there was nothing that was available to purchase so that didn’t make any sense.

super chill, bed was humongous which was a godsend after working at summer camp, outdoor area was fun for us to chat with our friends who were also staying

I shouldnt done more research into amenities but didn’t realize there was also no bar or onsite restaurant for a quick bite. Front desk staff were great though

We checked in to the room and immediately saw a black fly buzzing around the room. The room was old and poorly maintained. Then I noticed the carpet. I saw a foil seal top the top of a toothpaste tube which shouldn't have been there if the floor was vacuumed. Then it became clear the floor wasn't vacuumed at all. Finally i noticed hair on some of the surfaces which was the last straw. We decided to check out and find somewhere else to stay. It was really inexcusable for the price per night. I am currently waiting for a refund.

Over charge and the plans isn’t worth for the charge

The staff were really helpful!! The only thing is the walls are thin so you can hear everyone and everything but overall a really great experience and close to a lot of cool places!

The hotel is really run down and beat up. My suite had one non functioning air conditioner unit. There was some kind of manufacturing or machine sound that ran through the night, like ice or bottles that dropped or banged and made it difficult to sleep. There was no phone in the room so you had to communicate with the staff by walking down to the front desk. The shower had a mold buildup that wasn’t being addressed by the cleaning team. It was bad and expensive. Google rated the place accurately, Expedia did not.

The staff are probably the only bright spot. It’s obvious they’re struggling with the rundown hotel but they keep a brave face. The only good thing is location. Everything else is just so far below par! I wouldn’t stay here again.

Overall, enjoyed my experience there, and I loved the layout of the property. Air conditioning was great, and my room was always clean

It is old, the window give a view to the corridor so everybody can see in the room, no privacy. We wanted to cancel, we were there 10 minutes. T hey never reimburse us and they even charge us an additional fees for cleaning the room !! What a joke, We never sleep there. Don't go there.

Without disclosing it in their hotel details and booking, they required a $100 deposit during check in (in addition to the full amount including taxes and hotel fees we had booked). They confirmed this was just in case of damages and just a security deposit which would be fully refunded in 5-10 business days after check out. 2 weeks later, when asked when the refund would take place, they responded saying the deposit was not refundable and was used for “extra hotel fees and taxes” which are NEVER disclosed or discussed at all. Even during checkout we were reassured the full amount would be refunded. After insisting, instead of a refund we got a CHARGE ATTEMPT of $13 in our CREDIT CARD. We checked with the bank and it was NOT a refund attempt but a charge. Now they won’t even respond to calls or messages, stole our $100 and probably cloned our CC. These people are completely disgusting please do not stay.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the rooms need a bit of updating. The size of the room was great, especially for NY.

I’ve stayed here before in the past but this time wasn’t as pleasant. I checked in late and they gave me a small room with a king bed. Floor felt sticky and dirty. Bed was so squeaky I didn’t sleep well at all. I was woken up every single day by cleaning ladies, even though I had a do not disturb on my door even the day I paid for a late check out they came at 9am knocking at my door with the sign on it. Location is great tho.
