Bathroom needs renovations

The room was clean. The staff were nice. I held a pleasant conversation with a housekeeper in the elevator. My biggest letdown though was the a/c. When I walked in it was set to 70. I immediately brought it down to 65, which was the lowest setting. I ended up leaving the room for a few hours. When I came back, I thought the a/c had been raised from 65. It had not. I woke up several times to drink my ice water because the room seemed to have gotten even hotter.My daughter, who normally runs cold, felt good. She was prepared to wear a winter onesie pajama because she knows how I like the climate even at home. The second night was even warmer. Needless to say, very disappointed with the condition of the a/c. One thing out of the hotel’s “reach” was the occupant(s) in the room next to us. I woke up coughing several times more due to smoking / vaping that came through the vents. I was glad I brought my puffer with me. And, no, I did not complain because the occupant(s) would have known who complained due to our two rooms having a locked door before using a “key” to entering either of our room doors. I would have loved to give all five stars if, once again, the air conditioner worked.

The location and amenities of the hotel were great.

Front of hotel is a mess with faded, ripped, fake foliage and did not match website photo. Much of the interior is painted in black or other dark colors. Hallways are grim and poorly lit. Room was neat but but very basic. Surrounding area was noisy with lots of sirens and honking.

The room was clean, modern and spacious. Very conveniently located. Gym had good equipment and variety. Very happy with our stay at Truss Time Square!

Great location to all the great foods. Staff is nice and welcoming.

Bon rapport qualité prix mais rien d’exceptionnel. Parfait pour passer une nuit mais pas un long séjour. Pas de café dans la chambre, pas de restaurant sur place etc.

It was also nice to have a little gym accessible on site and a short walk to Times Square. Would stay here again 👍

Close to all of the activities, super clean room and nice hot shower .

Chambre plus petite que je pensais. Pas adapter pour plusieurs jours avec 4 personnes chambre pas vraiment au gout du jour. Pour le prix de la nuitée, cetait beaucoup plus cher pour la nonnqualité de la chambre. A ce prix ailleurs au etat ou au Canada, le service et les chambres sont de meilleur qualité.

Bathroom was rough looking as-well. Other than that room is decent. I’d come back if the ac issues were resolved.

They cancelled my reservation without contacting me through Expedia or phone

Very good location and everything felt clean for the most part. I would stay here again.

-check in is 4pm, we arrived at 4pm on the nose, we had tickets to Les Mis 40th anniversary concert at Radio City Music Hall and wanted to get there as soon as they opened the doors at 6:30. We needed to shower and get dressed but we had a delay because the front desk didn’t have a room available so we had to wait for housekeeping to finish the room. It wasn’t long, but it was enough to make us anxious on our special night. -the maintenance crew has a good amount of details to work on like screws missing on light fixtures and the thermostat that fell off the wall, paint touch ups, scratches in the ceiling wallpaper, and other things like that -whether it’s maintenance or a contractor (I don’t care) but someone PLEASE get the windows washed. They’re absolutely filthy on the outside The front desk employee (Luz) wasn’t rude, but she didn’t offer an apology or anything. She just said that we had to wait. Of course It’s not her fault, but she could have done something to ameliorate the situation. Overall, we’d plan a future stay at Truss. But next time we’re on a schedule, I’ll know to call ahead and ask for a room to be ready for our arrival at 4pm.

They let us check-in early, as soon as the room was ready. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel location was great, not too far from Times Square by foot. We will book again on our next trip to NYC.
