Hyatt Place New York City/Times Square

No water refill stations Breakfast was decent but expect long lines and waits even during off peak season Gym was not clean, trash and bugs water station did not work Rooms are very small pictures are deceptive, room Is basically a closet - we booked a Room with king bed and pull out. Could Barely set up the pullout bc there was no space! No where to store luggage or clothes in room , shower water pressure comes and goes , also had issue with brown water in room. Pull out is extremely uncomfortable, I would not recommend using it. You only get one pillow and one sheet and have to ask repeatedly for additional before they were brought up. Room said 1-3 people but realistically maybe 1-2 at most. There is no space and no storage making everything uncomfortable disorganized and tight. Fridge also did not keep items cold. Overall I would not stay here again given the plentiful other options in nyc. Also the hotel says it’s located in Times Square it is not, it’s in hell’s kitchen/garnet district

I travelled from Toronto for the weekend, and it was just an OKAY stay for me. The location is good; it's very convenient. 10 mins to Penn Station, 10-15 mins walk to Times Square, 15-20 mins walk to Bryant Park/NYPL. However, the reception staff were so undertrained. I understand it can be hard to hear what people are saying when the lobby is full of guests. However, I was quite upset with the receptionist who checked me in, who at first tried to understand my question: "Is my room located at the end of the corridor?" After I repeated my question three times, she laughed in a very unprofessional way and made me feel like my English was broken. Never going to stay here again.

DO NOT DRINK THE WATER IN THE ROOM. IT COST ME $6 A BOTTLE AND THEY CHARGE ME $18 FOR 3 BOTTLES OF WATER . Rooms are tiny. Pictures online are misleading. I was surprised to see how tiny these rooms are. That being said the location was fantastic and great breakfast. Clean and the staff were helpful. Water bottle situation was really one star act.

Desk staff, shuttle staff and especially Italo in baggage storage were great.

Everyone was nice. We requested towels twice a day when we were there. Only once did they show and the wrong ones. The morning of check out we needed them to shower and requested it. They never showed so we gave up.

Location was convenient. Property was very clean and staff was helpful

Excellent room with in budget and in premium location in walkable distance to timesquare. I loved it and will recommend this and will stay again.

Clean lobby, great front desk employees and the breakfast buffet was worth it. I highly recommend this hotel.

Noise Poor breakfast

The hotel is located on the center of Manhattan and it is a walking distance to Time Square. The room is very small but clean.

Room was clean, elevators didn’t work properly-one was out or order a few times during a 4 day stay and the other elevators were clearing out the floors to stop at (had to keep pushing the floor button), breakfast was great, location was great.

Convenient location & helpful staff.

night before we were leaving the manager was informed and told this was the first time aware. Offer to move to another room for one night. I am calling corporate about the air situation.
