This is probably the worst hotel I ever stayed at. Tiny rooms, filthy bathroom, hotel was severely deteriorated. The only positive was the location.

Huge room for NYC…perfect location for our purposes.

Hampton Inn as a brand is a really good example of a family friendly mid-tier hotel. For our budget and needs this hotel was the exact perfect place to stay. The free breakfast had several hot options and the breakfast staff was absolutely fantastic. Our stay was five days, and Cesar ‘The breakfast guy’ made our family feel important and taken care of. Anytime we saw a small maintenance issue- which let’s be honest with this many tourists is gonna happen every day— the hotel was immediately on it. The front desk was even telling me about how they have a project coming up to upgrade the bathroom vent fans in all the rooms. It’s a huge project, but knowing that they care to make sure every day is as comfortable as possible made me glad this was our hotel choice. We have stayed at some very high-end properties, but the Hampton Inn is our go to and I feel like I would unreservedly recommend this location to anyone staying in New York.

The AC was not working but they sent someone really quickly to fix it and it worked trhoughout our stay. I’d only say the shower is very small and the water came out of it fairly easy so it was wet after each shower. Rhe location is amazing, very near the stations and plenty of food options. Walking distance from Madison Square Garden and Times square.

After my flight was canceled and delayed for two days, I arrived to find that my reservation had not been honored—even though I was charged for those two days. This caused excessive new expenses and immense stress while trying to find new accommodations. To make matters worse, the staff was not helpful at all and offered no assistance other than a simple 'sorry.'

Check-in was at 3:00 PM, but we arrived early in the morning, and they kindly allowed us to enjoy the complimentary breakfast that day, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The breakfast included a hot buffet with waffles, eggs, sausages, and several other options. Overall, I recommend this nice, budget-friendly place to stay.

The staff was top drawer…everyone was very nice and very helpful. The rooms were rather small. One chair not much space…very clean though. The bathroom..again small with a very small shower. Lots of noise at night…sirens, horns, etc…but it was downtown NY. Also the location was very good…about a 10 minute walk from Times Square and the price was good for Manhattan. I would stay there again.
-
Great location. The room was clean and had everything we needed. However, on the day of check-out, we had to wait more than 30 minutes for the elevator with our luggage, which was extremely frustrating.
-
Hotel was at a central location but not very well maintained. Ice machines were not working at all locations, shower was clogged, towels were not fully replaced, elevator was taking forever
-
The staff are great and help you with everything, the room was super clean and breakfasts was great.
-
Room was great. Overall property was clean. Breakfast was good, but seating area was small and very crowded, and I was never able to find a place to sit. Ended up sitting on the floor. Biggest issue was the elevators. Only two relatively small elevators for a 32 story building. Housekeeping uses the same elevators. During busy times, some guests had to wait 15+ minutes to get on an elevator.
-
My son enjoyed his time there. Staff were great.
-
Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Quick elevators, although classically small. Free breakfast was a great perk. Overall great value and happy with our choice to stay here. I had a wonderful vacation and this hotel was perfect for me. A+

Clean room staff breakfast

Elevator was extremely slow and breakfast room is a bit crowded. Overall great location and well maintained property. Enjoyed the front desk mints too!
-
Room was very clean, and AC was nice and cold.
-
The overall look of this hotel is very dated and the lobby furniture needs to be cleaned. The rooms were okay, however the blankets very worn out. The worst part was the wait time for the elevators around 15-20 minutes every morning. Ridiculous!!! We paid peak prices because of the FIFA World Cup event, it was around $500 a night definitely not worth that price. The only favorable thing of this hotel is its location. Will not be staying here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to accommodate their guests. They even gave a nice welcome bag when we arrived. Room was cozy and no problems with the elevator which we appreciated. Nice central location. Would definitely recommend them to NYC visitors.
