Candlewood Suites New York City-Times Square by IHG

The carpet near the elevator needed to be vacuumed. Tv did not have local channels and selection was just average, and quality of sound was not that great.

It smelled so bad a smell like weed in rooms whenever we turn our exhaust fan

It was very good stay only problem was when we turn on our exhaust fan it smelled like weed idk if it was from other rooms or what because of this my throat hurt so badly and made the experience really bad

Our room was very clean. It was very quiet at night - we didn’t hear any other rooms at all. Staff were friendly and helpful! Free coffee and tea was a nice little perk for busy days exploring the city. Perfect location for many of our outings. Thank you for a comfortable stay!

Hotel was in a great location, centrally located for exploring the city. The staff was helpful and friendly. When we first checked into our room we discovered our bed springs on one side were broken. We called down to the front desk and they quickly relocated us to another room. Room and lobby was clean and decent size for NYC. Would definitely recommend.

I had a great 10 days at Candlewood Suites. The location was perfect to get around the city. The bed was comfortable and having the kitchen came in handy. Plus it didn’t break the bank to stay in Midtown I would definitely stay here again

Exceptional

I had issues with the bathroom exhaust fan that would cause steam to build up after each shower. All the on duty managers were notified though all polite, the actual issue by their engine who can atleast 2-3 times did not fix the problem. Promised on each day but during my 3 night stay it remained as is. Even the request to change the room was fulfilled. Reason given they are fully booked at Candlewood hotel.

great location, 10 mins walk from time square, with so many nearby restaurants and markets. have a full set of kitchen appliances that makes living more convenient. many reviews mentioned the elevator but when i was there, two elevators were both working and it was very fast to get to higher floors. staff were also very friendly.

We stayed for a weekend convention. It was just what we needed with minimal necessities: towels, soap, tv, microwave, utensils, dish soap/sponge, fridge, and A/C. We didn’t use the electric stove, but they also provide pans and plates/bowls. We tried the wi-fi, but found our own data worked better. Laundry room is in the basement and narrow, but it was free with newer washers and dryers. They didn’t have detergent, but told us about a laundromat that sold tide pods for a dollar each (cash only). If we come back we’re likely to use them again.

Exceptional

My only complaint is about the AC in the room, which made quite a loud noise during the night and sometimes woke me up.

Didn’t get off to a great start, as I arrived just after 3pm and my room wasn't ready. But the member of staff kept me fully updated and sent me in the direction of free refreshments. The room was amazing. The air con was powerful and needed. It was so nice to have a fridge but one with a freezer too. I bought a few boxes of ice-cream to keep the heat at bay. I will be travelling to NYC again during Thanksgiving week and have already booked Candlewood. Thank you for your hospitality!
