Pestana CR7 Times Square

The staff was very nice. The room was clean and cofortable and looked great The room smelled like cigarettes. We didn't inform the staff at the front desk because we just wanted to get on with our day in NY, so it's not their fault.

We only stayed one night. Room was clean but small and the bed comfortable. What we loved was how centrally located it was: a block from Port Authority and the theater and restaurants that we went to were a few blocks away. Would book again

OK hotel, in a bad location, with terrible staff! Every day we had to argue with someone to get basic services like getting our room cleaned. The staff were unprofessional and rude. Never seen such bad service at a 4-star hotel. Never staying here again.

Great location to Times Square. Nice bedding and comfortable bed. Small room but to be expected in NYC. Croissants and bagels in the morning.

The property was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. Because we were VIP we had access to the mini bar at no charge. The only downside of the room was that the air conditioner was very noisy.

Our stay at Pestana was amazing from the start. The staff was really helpful answering any questions we had about the hotel and its surroundings. Would definitely book a stay here in the future.

Great location at walking distance from Times Square. Rooms are small but very comfortable. The complimentary "breakfast" was very appreciated. Very recommended for a short stay at NYC.

Only bagels and croissants for breakfast, but they are excellent. Not a lot of amenities we are used to at American chains. Storage drawers are under the bed in the frame rails, no closet. Being a European type place it doesn’t have the ice machines on the floors, or soda machines. No luggage service to your room. That being said, the staff is so friendly and accommodating.

The room was a closet with a bed and barely enough room to walk around. When we arrived the toilet seat was broken. Here are some things we missed: - a bathroom night light, a clothes hook, better toilet paper, hand/face lotions - noise cancelling drapes for city street noise - room for 2nd suitcase (told to put under bed!) - a microwave - paper & pen - real breakfast instead of breads only, no juices, protein, etc. Other: we were charged a 'facility fee' of $30 night. Told it was mandatory, but not told what for. Turns out to be for a bottle of water and various "discounts." The water never appeared, not once in 5 nights. The discounts were never explained, we only learned upon checkout they were part of the fee. So, $150 extra for ... nothing. Biggest disappointment was the room. $500+ night on our honeymoon for a closet. The lobby had a dysfunctional concierge touch display. The staff was surprised but unable to assist with it. There was a $250 room deposit, yet the bar would not bill to the room. On the plus side, the shower was great. The giant TV was good, even if it could only be watched lying in bed. The elevators were large and speedy. Good location.
