Hyatt Centric Times Square New York

The entire experience from check in to check out at the Hyatt centric hotel in times Square NYC was wonderful. The level of hospitality provided by all the stsff was above average which made the stay feel more comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. Thank You.

The bfast was very convenient. The waffle were awesome!!! The location was great. They should tell you in advance that they add a 18% gratuity automatically when you buy any item including a bag of chips.

Great location and clean rooms!

This time I came with my family and booked an executive suite, the hotel's highest category. Two things stood out. First, the late check-out. I asked the hotel manager whether we could keep the room for two additional hours. He told me this wasn't possible as the hotel was fully booked back-to-back. Moments later, he offered the same room for two hours — at the price of a full additional night. When I asked about just one extra hour, the figure became 75 USD. If the room was genuinely unavailable, it could not have been sold to me twice over in the space of a minute. Whatever the intention, that exchange did not reflect well on the property. Second, my children brought donuts to a table in the market-hall-style seating area. An employee from one of the kiosks approached and told us, "Food from the outside is not allowed here, leave!" No greeting, no explanation — simply that. Service and integrity matter more to me than thread count or square footage, and on both counts this stay fell short of what a loyal guest in the top room category should expect. There is no shortage of alternatives in Midtown. I won't be returning.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the room with two queen beds is spacious enough for a family traveling with kids. The staff was incredibly helpful; they let me check in much earlier than my scheduled time because I arrived early and the room was available. It’s just a short walk away from Times Square, making it convenient for exploring the city. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.
