We really enjoyed our stay and as someone that hates elevators using the stairs was perfect! The staff was very helpful. Our room was very clean and tidy. I just wish it had a closet and I hated that it was a wet room so the floor was sopping wet but it was a nice size bathroom. We had the King with the pullout couch and it was very tight, but it was nice to be able to get my husband to New York for a few few days while we were there.. the location is great and you have a fantastic Irish pub right next-door. We had drinks a couple times at the bar downstairs and it was very nice. The rooms are a little loud and the people next-door had a bunch of people in their room at like 1 am at the night before we left, annoying but the only time we were woken up by other guests. The staff called us a car to take to the airport and had it ready when we woke up. I wish we had used our food coupons, maybe they could remind you when you pay? lWe forgot every time we ordered, but the nachos were a hit one night when we didn’t have time for dinner before a show! It is on a busy street but it’s possible to avoid mostly Times Square and go the other way to the train using 6th Avenue . Easy walk to Central Park, 5th Ave., Rockefeller Center, Broadway shows and lots of other great places!

It was very beautiful. I liked that it was on main and the old style vibes. Parking near there.

This was our 7th stay at Merrion Row and we have stayed in many different hotels in New York. This quaint hotel is perfectly situated in Times Square but you wouldn’t know it. It’s quiet and charming, a lovely respite in the middle of the crazy Times Square.

room was very small and lacked some features expected for the star level

The staff was kind and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay. All of the employees were welcoming, kind, and helpful. The location was great for many of our activities. The room was clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was tasty. We really only have positive things to say and would highly recommend this hotel to others. Because of the proximity to Times Square, there was some noise which might bother some travelers (3 of our group of 4 were unbothered, the 4th used ear plugs and was fine). Some might also find the rooms on the smaller/cozier side (this didn't bother us, but good to know in advance).

Room was clean and beds were comfortable The fact they put a hold of $900 on my card and to this day nearly 2 weeks later have still not released it. Revolut my provider says they have no instruction to release payment and will need to wait until Aug 20th

Great location, central and quiet at the same time, nice room and ambiance The staff at the public house were great, the ones at reception rather neutral and cold, especially during the check out procedure.
-
Beautiful stay in very hectic Times Square . You feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle which is so nice . Staff is wonderful . Food is tasty . Rooms are very quiet and comfortable.
-
Hotel and rooms are incredibly small. A lot of paint damage, holes in the ceiling in the bathroom where you can see piping. Restaurant was great tho. The hotel itself is 2-3 star.
-
Great hotel and absolutely fantastic location next to everything worthwhile…theater, museums, Times Square, etc. Would highly recommend.
-
The location was ideal. Staff was very helpful. Restaurant was really nice.
-
The facility is very clean. The staff exceptional and the location perfect for theatre going. The restaurant/pub is wonderful - excellent food and beverages. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all exceeded expectations. Room size is small, but it is NYC

This is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Manhattan! The hotel feels incredibly cozy from the moment you step inside, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately sets it apart from the city outside. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, featuring plush bedding, soft lighting, and elegant touches that make it easy to relax after a long day in the city. The staff is warm and welcoming, always greeting guests with genuine smiles and going out of their way to be helpful, whether it’s offering local recommendations or accommodating small requests. The drinks and food are absolutely delicious, with well-crafted cocktails and flavorful dishes that feel both refined and satisfying. Everything was spotless and impeccably maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back!

Just a function of the room arrangement; a smallish NYC hotel room with odd furniture configurations.
-
Superb location and amazing staff (Sebastian and Saiorse specifically) Nowhere to relax apart from the room and bar/ dining area.

Great location, facilities, rooms and staff. Nothing
