There is a lot to like about this hotel-the location and the lobby and courtyard. It was so nice to be able to pick up food and then sit in the courtyard. That being said, it is an old hotel with few recent improvements. Our room was big but dated. We had a toilet that didn’t stop running. The shower was small and it just didn’t feel fresh. Would I stay here again? Absolutely if the price was right. But it’s not the latest and greatest if you’re looking for that. There was a fridge in the room that could only be used for their drinks they were selling you. So they offered to bring a fridge up to our room..kind of crazy to not have this as a standard. The staff was responsive when we asked for things like the missing hair conditioner but it just feels like little details are not taken care of initially.

It’s the best managed hotel in New York City That we stayed only one night.

We love the location and large rooms and super helpful staff. We also love the bar and restaurant. This trip, we were so disappointed to find that the lobby lounge had been obliterated and converted to a high end restaurant… it had made the Lotte a particularly appealing hotel…and it made up for the somewhat dated decor.

Beautiful hotel, large room but smaller bathroom. Staff were helpful and friendly. There was an issue with the lifts… with only 5 lifts servicing the entire hotel the wait times were quite long. Lifts were frequently full and guests often frustrated.

Beautiful courtyard to sit in the middle of Manhattan! Great views from room of NYC skyline. Staff a little short at times because seemed very busy! Only major problem was the elevators! Seems like only a few were working! Same 3 or 4 worked. And sometimes taken up my cleaning staff so you had to wait for the next one!

Great location No coffee machine in rooms

Unfortunately, my stay at Lotte New York Palace was quite disappointing. The staff was generally rude and not helpful, and I did not receive the level of hospitality I would expect from a luxury hotel. My room was very noisy, and when I asked to be relocated, the staff was not cooperative or accommodating. The experience at the restaurant was also disappointing, with staff members being particularly rude and inattentive. For a hotel of this reputation and price level, I expected much better service and professionalism. Sadly, the overall experience did not meet the standards I would expect from Lotte New York Palace.
