The staff were EXCELLENT, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. They were very kind with our request to have ajdoining rooms, which was Great for us and the kids to have our own space. Love the Nu Hotel! See you in 2027!

Beds were comfortable, and lobby amenities were nice. Breakfast area was crowded and the food was average. Location was very convenient for our purposes.

Breakfast was a pleasant bonus! Parking garage is literally right next door. Perfect. Room was great - clean and well appointed. Hallway carpet had some stains but cleanliness in the room, where it matters, was great. Would stay here again.

Breakfast looked good, but I ate elsewhere.

Nice boutique hotel in a superb location, walk to DUMBO, the waterfront, and in the heart of Brooklyn's downtown shopping and dining district. But the downside of being on busy Atlantic Ave is constant traffic noise, sirens, and horns. The double pane windows help a lot though. The rooms are a bit dated but furnished well, with cold A/C and a great shower. There’s a useful fitness center in the basement and daily free continental breakfast. The hotel also provides special extra touches like daily housekeeping, free bicycle rental, 24/7 coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fruit and chocolate chip cookies on occasion. The NU lounge is a great place to meet with friends or work remotely. We stayed here a whole week and found it a great base for exploring Brooklyn as well as Manhattan.

Nothing - we didn’t stay there because they didn’t have a room for us They didn’t have a room for us

Absolutely nothing ⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience. We arrived for our reservation and were told there was an issue with our room, so we were relocated to The Tillary Hotel. We were told by the front desk that we would be able to stay there for the duration of our trip, only to be told the next day that we had to pack up and move back to NU Hotel. Although Uber transportation was provided, it did not make up for the inconvenience and disruption of having to switch hotels twice during our stay. The communication was poor, and the front desk staff showed no compassion for the situation. We understand that issues happen, but this was handled poorly and added unnecessary stress to our trip. The lack of care and empathy from the staff was extremely disappointing. I would think twice before booking here - this was too stressful to deal with.

The gym had five pieces of equipment that were out of service. Three of them had a sign the other two did not. The front dest two of the three rude and not welcoming. All that mattered was we had a clean room. However, when I spend my money I want to have better customer service. Front desk needs to smile and ask if we have any questions and let us know if we need anything ask.

Location was very good Lobby was underwhelming The suite was not worth the price While it was very spacious, the bed was placed such that it was hard to get in and out of. The hammock that was pictured in the ads was not there, and other than useless space, there was not much more to it.
