NU Hotel Brooklyn

We love this hotel because of its great location in Brooklyn and the ease of access to Manhattan. The room was a little bigger than most and we enjoyed sitting in the room working. It was quiet and the A/C worked well so we had a good sleep. The breakfast was fine and the staff were extremely helpful. We will be back

Great property and location. Only flaw was that cleaning staff never returned after the initial attempt to clean. Other than that would definitely return

-rooms are crammed, beds are very uncomfortable - bed mattresses on both beds were hard and lopsided, bathroom shower did not function properly (could not be turned off so we had to keep it running, then the soap holder fell off, and there was dirt or mold around the edges of shower floor). Bathroom does not have a fan which could explain the mold. -the air conditioning unit stopped working about midnight, and this was a hot night, temperatures rose to 80F, we called front desk, but the unit was failed (the unit looked old, dusted, rusted, and very noisy) - this happened at 6:00 am - we checked out shortly thereafter even so we did not intend it in our plans. -we discussed this with front desk agent who presented himself as standoffish, rude. - we will not return -

This NU Hotel was in a convenient location. The room was clean and the breakfast was appreciated. My only criticism was that I found the bed in my room to be somewhat uncomfortable. Otherwise the room was well-equipped.

The breakfast was ok think it could have been better. As well a refrigerator would have been good due to the weather being very hot outside The breakfast lay of food and the food... not having a refrigerator

The room was clean. Free coffee and tea was a nice touch. Some common areas were dates like hallway and lobby.

Quiet

Location was on point, the breakfast was simple but not continental (bonus!) and the coffee was hot! The bed was very comfortable and shower water pressure was strong . All good!

Good location but tiny room, air conditioner blowing right on bed and patched with duct tape, not great amenities.

Great stay!

Despite the location at an extremely busy intersection, my room was quiet. The windows were triple paned and it was clear a lot of thought had gone into noise reduction.

One thing I like particularly is their simply presented yet abundant and multiple-option breakfast.

Bed

A clean minimalist hotel with a great location for me. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very tight. The shower was great. The bed was comfortable. The coffee pot worked well. No refrigerator which made it a little inconvenient. The “breakfast” wasn’t really used.

Easygoing, free breakfast, welcoming

Staff was wonderful. Jewel and Alissa at the front desk were incredible. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Coffee hot and ready early.

Terrific spot and location. Staff were amazingly helpful during the stay with storing and helping to carry items as I was hosting a brunch the next day. The garage staff next door were exceptional!
