Smyth Tribeca

Very nice location near several metro stops helpful bath only complaint was that it was a little noisy with the room on the second floor. Would probably try to get a quieter room next time.

Good size room and good location. Very poor quality rooms especially for the price. Walls very thin and no soundproofing. I do not think this is a 5 star hotel.

Super helpful staff. Location was great. Comfy bed. Nicely remodeled bathroom. Robe. It was a little shocking that the carpet was badly stained everywhere. In the room. In the hallways. Not just a little like big stains. It may be because of the color being so dark. And the doors to all rooms need to be painted. So the hotel itself looked like it needed a refresh. But the room (not including the carpet was good.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 10th wedding anniversary stay at Smyth. Perfectly positioned location and looked after by a wonderful team. It nice to have the option of an in room mini fridge bar although we never used it. Room and bed were very comfortable. If there was one small feature missing for us, it was the lack of coffee making facilities in the room. There was a Starbucks right next door so it wasn’t too bad and you could have purchased a coffee in the restaurant or bar but as a high cost room, coffee facilities would have been nice. Hotel is situated in an excellent location and we found our way to everything very easily. We’ll definitely come back 👍

For a $500 a night stay I would have expected that breakfast would be uncluded? Stayed on the 6th floor where the carpet was very badly stained n the landing. Looked like someone was either sick or had explosive diarrhoea. Few bits of staining in the room also! The room was fine but the complete lack of power sockets in the room was ridiculous. Everything needed plugging into an exstension cable under the bed. Bathroom was clean however no door on the shower meant a very wet floor when you took one. $500 dollar room with a view would be nice but a $500 room with an internal view of another building, wires and air con units was not for me. The Gallerie bar was very good and enjoyed some decent cocktails and drinks Would I stay again, probably not given this visit.

Great location, helpful staff, big rooms. Rooms could use a slight update, showing just a bit of wear. But it was very clean.

Le service de nettoyage des chambres à tous les jours était parfait. Beaucoup de bris . Frigo ne fonctionnait pas . Connecteurs côte d’un lit qui ne fonctionnaient pas. Nous avons avisé mais rien n’a été résolu.

This is a nice hotel on the edge of Tribeca. The room was very quiet which is important to us. The bathroom doesn’t have ventilation and as a result there is a musty smell. The towels were good. The bed linens were subpar at best. The duvet or comforter was thin and limp and there was no top sheet which I like to have. The staff were nice. The resort fee is a cash grab for nothing in return. There is nothing to lure me back as there are so many hotels to choose from in NYC.

Delightful stay at the Smyth Tribeca, our first. Loved that the hotel was right next to the Chambers St subway as we commuted to the US Open Tennis each day. Also that there is a Starbucks across the street! Our 5th floor room (facing the side street, not Broadway, so quieter) featured modern decor and spacious by NYC standards, which was nice. Beds very comfy and ditto sheets. Carpet disappointing in the room and on the floor - black with bleach marks everywhere. Also, the desk chair looked like it was pulled from a school cafeteria. Friends staying on the 8th floor had different and nicer carpet, also a modern chair/desk, so maybe the hotel is replacing a few things top down? Had drinks at the hotel bar/restaurant which was very vibey and appealing. We will be returning to stay for the NYC marathon so definitely recommend the Smyth Tribeca!

We had a great room and very comfortable bed

Hotel location is amazing, everyone is very nice - room was disappointing - once again was give the accessible room which I did not book, which means lower furniture, bath not shower and half my terrace was a ramp. Not the end of the world just not what I expected. I brought it up at the desk and the gentleman sort of fubbed it off. Also no coffee machine in room which is always gutting. However it's a decent stay and bed was very comfortable.
