Good location, quiet rooms. I was given an old, dated room with a tiny window - nowhere near what’s advertised online. I think the staff knew it was a bad room because they immediately called me to check if the room was okay, and subsequently they immediately recalled which room I was staying in - as if that room was infamous. I asked if I could get an updated room and was told it was not available for my fare price.

I’ve stayed here a number of times over the years- Location is fabulous! Staff is excellent. We stayed on the 5th floor and our room although spacious for a NYC hotel was showing signs of wear and tear. My family stayed on the 3rd floor & had a more updated room.

Location, nice clean room. No coffee maker... No coffee maker in room

Every single employee we interacted with was warm, attentive and professional. From the front desk and doormen to the housekeeping staff and restaurant team, the level of service and professionalism was always outstanding. The room was spacious, clean, and bright. The beds were extremely comfortable, leading to great nights sleep. You can hear the subway below, but only if you are a light sleeper and it is completely quiet. Extra touches like the cozy robes, slippers and in room service breakfast, made the stay feel luxurious. There is a mini bar and fridge stocked with goodies, but there is still enough room to store leftovers and water bottles if needed. The bathroom was roomy with great lighting and a deep tub for a night's soak after exploring the city all day. We had a great time and will definitely return to Smyth Tribeca.

The team at Smyth Tribeca is welcoming, friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the area, and exceeded our expectations to make our stay exceptional. The location for exploring and access to the subway is great. Our room was modern and nicely sized. Refreshing citrus water in the lobby was much appreciated after returning from exploring the City during warm summer weather. The breakfast in the Smyth Tavern is fresh and delicious. Check out the Smyth Lounge if you enjoy a cocktail and a nice spot for conversation.

No hot water and sheets and bed were not very comfortable. Our room faced the inside of the building so there was no light and no view

Had a great stay!

Location and cleanliness Some of the rooms are looking at the back of a street. So no sunshine

Location, Large Room. No tea coffee making facilities in the room, only available through their restaurant which opens at 7am. I'm ready for coffee at 5/6am. This is very inconvenient. Bathroom not enough space to place your toiletries items, despite room being large. Plugs, all USB and us, so not easy for an international traveller. Type C is the norm now. No full length mirror in room and requested one, to which they responded no. However pics online and videos show full length mirrors in room.
