We had a great room and very comfortable bed
-
Hotel location is amazing, everyone is very nice - room was disappointing - once again was give the accessible room which I did not book, which means lower furniture, bath not shower and half my terrace was a ramp. Not the end of the world just not what I expected. I brought it up at the desk and the gentleman sort of fubbed it off. Also no coffee machine in room which is always gutting. However it's a decent stay and bed was very comfortable.

Great location in Tribeca, comfortable bed, and some of the staff are friendly. The hotel still has some of its original charm. They accommodated my late checkout, which I appreciated. The hotel is just not what it once was. The staff used to take a much more personal approach (acknowledgement as a return guest, e.g.). The room was looking run down and in need of an update (stains on wall, chair, etc.). Charging in the room is outdated for USB type, which is not handy for international travelers.

A great spot to recoup after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were helpful and friendly. The in house dining was also great. We hope to return again !

Absolutely perfect stay. The room was well appointed and spotless. Bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was so quiet. We ate at Smyth Tavern and it was delicious. Perfect location for any downtown excursion and there is a subway line right next door. I will be back.

The hotel, amenities was just ok. It doesnt justify the price to be honest. The rug in the room has spots on it, the rooms could be more modern too - it has the old feeling.

Very nice property in the heart of it all.

My room is clean and nicely maintained. The hallway is a bit old but I think they tried their best to maintain cleanliness regardless. Friendly and helpful staff when there was a blip on the bill, they resolved it with grace and the stay was ultimately enjoyable for the time of year I visited (August heat + humidity).

Good location, quiet rooms. I was given an old, dated room with a tiny window - nowhere near what’s advertised online. I think the staff knew it was a bad room because they immediately called me to check if the room was okay, and subsequently they immediately recalled which room I was staying in - as if that room was infamous. I asked if I could get an updated room and was told it was not available for my fare price.
